Are you only using the contact cement on top of the foam padding? I thought it should be applied to both surfaces, but doing that could cause the vinyl to stick to itself during installation.
No, just the foam side. As we showed, when you get a little off, or a large bubble, you will need to lift the vinyl up and if it has too much glue you wont be able to pull it up. It will be very difficult and take chunks of the foam up with it.
That was the original method of install. It would allow you to use tach nails. If you are using the modern foam and contact cement, you don't need the fiber board.
I suppose it's a bit late to say this, but you have the left hand seat adjuster on the right side of the car. The one in the Moss catalog is also wrong.
