Bhai, GAME CHANGER is too big word for it. Wait and see On many parameters it is not better option as compared with other brands. Let's see. We shall connect again
It's sad to see two things. 1. The larger 56kw battery pack not being available. 2. The majority of the controls being in the touchscreen is a safety hazard.
The only reason I could think of for not offering the bigger battery probably is to avoid cutting ZS EVs sales. Who would even consider ZS if you give a larger battery in this car?
Why show the top of the line model and talk about the base model pricing ? Almost all channels are doing this which is absurd, talk about the vehicle model that you are showing to people,if it's the base model pricing you are talking about show the base model, don't say attractive pricing of 9.99 lakhs and show the top model images which actually makes the viewer's believe that the vehicle which is shown in your video with all the bells and whistles is for the base price.
While we agree with you, at almost all media drives, the cars provided to us are top-spec ones. Hence we are bound to show you the top-spec car. And when it comes to talking about price, well, almost every time, we all talk about a car from its starting price, right?
@@powerdriftofficial Agreed, but please be specific and tell the viewers that this is not that base variant car with the base price but this is the top variant which will cost significantly more than the other variants.
this is age old trick all showroom guys also play with you, when you ask for a vehicle for test ride, they will show you top model and when you go to buy, it is insanely priced.
No comments on the lifetime warranty on the battery? It looks like MG is offering this even on the outright purchase option. Will be very interesting to understand the details associated with it
Looks like a very competent competition for the Nexon EV and XUV400. Much more spacious and bigger car for same price. Nexon EV Max costs the same, same range and much smaller. This could also be a viable option for fleet owners like BluSmart.
I have a serious question ⁉️ Are they sourcing battery from same source as TATAs , or , they are purchasing BMS and other electronics from TATA....( Just like they do for COMET ) Battery charging, electric motor ,warranty and other characteristics looks similar to 35kwh NEXON ( apart from skateboard platform and battery pack being slightly bigger )
I don't think MG would be buying BMS and other electronics from TATA. Pretty much almost all the car in the MG lineup both ICE and EV are either a rebadged version of another car that has been in sale in another country for a long while. Windsor is a rebadged Wuling Cloud. Comet is a rebadged Wuling Air. Hector is a rebadged Baojun 530.
@@superchargedpetrolhead every manufacturer have different arrangements for specific countries, depending on several factors. MG COMEN in India uses battery, BMS , motor sourced from TATA MOTORS
ZS EV pricing looks absurd now. 13.99 lakh without battery is 4 lakh more than the Astor base model, which is basically the same car with a petrol motor and a 43% GST vs 5% for EV. Make it make sense
The Astor's naturally aspirated engine is quite sluggish, which explains its lower cost. The turbocharged variant comes at a higher price. The motor in the ZS EV generates around 174hp and 280Nm of torque. If the NA engine costs approximately 3.5 lakhs, the turbo petrol version would likely be around 5 lakhs, while the ZS EV motor should be in the range of 6+ lakhs.
@@ZpZpZm I'm talking about cost to make not about performance. Electric motors are even more simpler than petrol engines. Except the Petrol engine, everything is the same. But Astor is 7 lakhs pre GST. And ZS is 13.33 lakhs pre GST without the battery. That means it's costing almost double, without battery. It doesn't make sense.
Is it a direct replacement to a kia seltos or creta? Can i customise wheels or some other bits like car speakers amps? How are the ergonomics like arm rest and quasi SUV Feel? Can i check under thigh support like innova or creta gen 1 level? Answer those too
Many factual errors. The EX Showroom cost will be including battery even with BaaS. Also the Battery Financers will keep security amount as per the plan. For example, in case of Viduat, you will need to pay 70% of battery cost upfront.
Accident prone car with all controls buried layers deep in the touch screen. Also HUGE lag on the touch screen The authorities should never have certified this car.
Sir, I will pay for battery and I will take finance for car - in that case what they will say? - when they say payfull ......or get loan for car and battery .......or loan for battery........ then why not pay for battery and loan for vehicle ? like instead of BaaS i want to go VaaS(vehicle as a service)
Because for the extra 3lakh for battery you will end up paying about 7k a month for 5 years. Here max you will pay is 5250, in all probability a lot less as you would hardly do 1000km in the city in a month
@@himanshupersonal In a way you are right , but they cannot charge similar Rs. Per KMS. I am just taking loan - an normal loan- thats all - I am going to pay usual vehicle interest - I am get rid off and *(T&C). My deal is going to be simple .
I really want to like EVs, and MG. However, till the time I can actually take an EV for a proper trip, EVs will not be for me. I think MG realises that even if the range is 500km, it still won't be able to do long trips, unless one wants to take several minutes, maybe even an hour or so, of detour just to get to a fast charger. But that kills the EV for me
What is this unlimited battery warranty? Buying the battery also entitles us for it? Also, they should say Battery as EMI and not Battery as service. Its misleading and I think MG will get sued shortly by customers through consumer court.
No reviewer has showed the base variant...all are showing the middle and top variant falsely mentioning it's available for 9.99 lac...this is false information...
@@manjeetkolte8601 I'm not being critical or negative; these are just my thoughts. I watch every video from Cyrus, Varun, Rohan, and Karan. I just don't feel a connection with him, that's all.
Rs.3.5 lakh for the battery with 1500 km per month rental is basically financing your battery with a 7 years loan. So based on your perferences or conditions you can choose to finance it whole or through rental
Have a question for most urban users - about 70% of the urban car users don't use their cars as often as expected. I see most cars parked the whole week in my apartment complex. The cars don't leave their parking spaces - so even 230 km per charge doesn't really matter. So the MG Windsor is a good option.
Its a nice design, a good looking car . But , history tell us such designs are not accepted very well by customer. HONDA JAZZ, ZEN ESTILLO , M&M MARAZO to name a few. I really like the fit n finish and space of the interiors, introductory price .......,and it will interesting how safe / crash worthy this vehice is going to , and how Indian customer recive this design philosophy
This is a very good car. All things considered. I saw it yesterday and it is extremely plush and comfortable. The seats are like Chesterfield Sofas with that Quilted work. It is very spacious and there is plenty of headroom and legroom in all the seats. The fit and finish are very good.
What if mg puts zs ev battery in it and launches it in future? That would be a bloody deal isn’t it. A car feature rich like this that can get you 450 500km.
sorry to ask but could you recheck your calc and tell me how it costs ₹7k to charge it to run 1500 km a month? I mean, one could fill up their petrol cars and clock nearly as much distance with that same money..
Dude, your videos are so amazing that whenever I watch I fall in love with every cars, This car is something that people will realise when it hit the roads.
Okay a genuine question, I already booked the top variant but I am confused about the battery purchase, as my running is around 500km per month max. So I decided to opt out for viduyt plan of 3.5rs/km, it’s gonna cost me 1700 rental + 500 for electricity that too is cheaper in delhi so like total of 2200 per month ? That’s like 26000 per year that’s like 13 years to catch the actual battery price I.e 3.5lakh ? I am just concerned is it too good to be true ? Or they have some hidden charges in it ? Well I asked from MG they said it is what it is no extra charges. Comments on this ?
are you planning for future? you will get married, have kids, so take that into account before going for the Battery plan. to me it seem good plan for someone who rides less. cant see any issue or something hidden there.i notice bike in your pic, beware as the bike will not provide much fun after riding a EV. you will want a EV motorcycle as i am looking for now :D
@@chetansingh2193 the whole plan will be disclosed closer to delivery date. It's like a lease, so there will be buyback at the end of the lease period or option to continue. if the warranty is lifetime, it makes sense for Vidyut. Kms are the only thing that matter then
@@lalit3124 Yeah got the point never thought of this kinda future though wife will be having her own car, but i think they are saying we will own the battry after a certain time in BaaS scheme. Thats zx6r in the pic after that i brought hayabusa too, i clocked 300 with superbikes , i dont think any EV is even nearby.
@@lalit3124just had a convo regarding viduyt plan from MG, we have to drive till 1.5lakh km , or if you will be selling it you have to play 5.25 minus whatever you have payed. So overall its a shit plan
