Why did you change the reversing radar setting to front and back? The mg zs ev only has sensors on the back. Why did you change the audio channel to 8 when there are only 6 speakers? Also why did you change to left driving type when you are in the UK and have your steering on the right?

Thats a great trick, do you have a solution of being able to change the AC or going to MG system while on a call ? Its a bit frustrating that once connected to a call even through carplay or direct bluetooth it will not allow to exit and go to AC menu to change temperature and fan speed ! And the only way is the screen so we have to disconnect the call to do it ….
Thanks for this. For some reason, my engineering mode buttons/options are all locked and it seems I also have the same HW002 version as yours. Do you know if there is anything we can do to unlock the engineering mode CAN Info buttons/options ? how come I changed the country code on page 6 to UK but the temperature could not be changed to Celsius, it is still Fahrenheit (all units were changed but except for temperature). Anyone have find out the way to fix this.

Hi Jason I’m fully aware of the lack of features our uk variant has compared to Thai and Indian variant. I simply copied button presses shared from a couple of photos. Personally I may revert settings but just sharing changes for anyone who is interested
So is the degrees C is the temperature of the air coming out of the vents or the temperature of the cabin? It's probably only 1 sensor away from climate control? A bit of a software/firmware update could well get the system close to climate control?
There are no automated sensors in the hvac of the zs EV so it’s a tempguessometer or a number rather than a simple graticule / heat blob as per the standard settings. There are no benefits to this change other than the temp is in a number format albeit no sensors regulate the heat so the number displays are not accurate but aesthetically pleasing for those who prefer it that’s all.
I cannot change the parameters at all, whenever I tap on option, it doesn't get selected. Also there is no OK option to save the settings. I am not on comfort 2 update.
This may require comfort 2 update. I have now reverted back to standard settings on the infotainment as I found the setting isn the video not fit for purpose.
Hi Timmy, I'm not sure if the changes will work on the ZS petrol but as you can see they did work on the ZS EV. I have since reverted back to the original settings only because the MKI ZS EV doesn't have a temp senor in the cabin or climate control but this might prefer some owners which is why I created the video.
You can see my screen before I entered engineering mode didn’t show temp in Celsius amongst a couple of other graphical changes so for me I might revert my infotainment back to the factory uk settings as the uk variants do not offer automated climate control so the only benefit to this change is you see a temperature value afterwards
