Went for trip to Bangalore and came back yesterday in my tigor ev, used ZEON charging all the way, was nice experience, but charging time for tigor was longer, I had 3 stops of 1hr per charge stop.

I think in next 3-4 years, everyone can confidently buy an EV. MG itself is coming up with bigger batteries in future interation.

44:24 my papa travelled through that route last week. He was driving our w212 e250. So while going from Chennai they passed through the opposite side of the bridge but while coming they had to be diverted(the first day of diversion). A govt bus was leading the pack followed by my dad. From the opposite side a tractor with a trailer full of wood came. The bus driver drove sideways like the whole left side of the vehicle was on the field and everyone was so scared that the bus might flip. But since it was a bus he could do that. Papa had to follow the bus but he refused to drive half way through the field. But he had to and the underside was scraping so loud, that they allowed to go fully on road. Papa was terrified and it was barely drivable had to close the mirrors but the other cars were helpful. Finally reached home 5 hrs later than expected.

Talking about the Paliyekkara toll, last month when I was travelling, my fastag was blacklisted even though it was charged and used at a toll 2 or 3 months back. So they asked me to pay double the amount as that is the rule. Since I waited so long in the que, I asked them about the 5/15 minute rule and the response was that they haven't received a notification about that particular rule.

Imagine like 40-45km/hr average around 3-3.5 hrs for 150 km. (If Only cars ) 300-350km practical range EVs With 35-50+ kw support fast charging. 📍 Morning 9 journey start, food kaikan nthayalm break edkanam so approx 40-50% battery left 150-200km covered. 📍 Morning 6 irangiyal breakfast kazhikan aavumblek cover around same things as above. 📍4 in the Eve with 40-50% battery left dinner time reach cheyum. 📍 Overnight journeys eg: kochi - banglore 550km around 10-11hrs 10 PM nyt journey start reaching by 8/9 AM Between power breaks nthayalm edkunath nallathan for safety and health. Taking 2/3 stops I think wont be an issue. Cars with the above-mentioned specs, sherkm aaloichal now only car aait consider cheyavunnathan. Take a break boost your and cars energy 🤘. Really looking forward for cars with 300+ range under 10 lakhs. Would be killer

Thanks for creating awareness and reducing range anxiety from the minds of potential EV buyers. Your observation on lack of vibration in an EV leading to less fatigue is really well founded. The flame front ( burning fuel shock wave bouncing off the cylinder walls) vibration in an IC engine - especially in diesel- matches with the natural frequency of the human body !! In an ICE car you are always in resonance !!

A small thought. Considering the fuel costs of aprox 2000₹ for 744kms, a fuel efficient CNG car can do same in comparable costs. A CNG car with 25km mileage can do 744kms for 2112₹.

As usual, it's a good one ❤️👌. But you guys have missed something. Definitely, using only zeon(one among the good ones) and their card is the simplest and easiest form of charging. But there are lot of troubles around charging electric cars. Like using different charging companies(especially tata chargers🤦🏻‍♂️), different procedures for different chargers(lot of hassles around them), availability etc.. just because a charger is available, we cant sure it will be available or working or may be it is available and working, but cannot charge due to technical errors and the support from the companies in such cases etc.. lot of such stories are available in team-bhp. All these matters so much so that it can ruin the whole electric car experience. I would suggest that you must do a video covering all these troubles and hassles around charging and suggest a workaround for those problems. 😊😊

If we spend 1k more on fuel instead of food its more fun driving ci engine cars on such highways. You can save a lot of time too maybe you can reach Bangalore in 7-10hrs. So i think ev’s cant be suggested as a primary car which you often take out for long drives. Nice episode btw. Love watching your videos.

One question: can we set it to 85% and go for a break at charging station instead of waiting till it reaches 85%.. It's a great session..very vary practical approach.. useful for people who are waiting to buy an ev.

Guys how is the ride quality. I felt it bit bumpy/hard from your video. Please comment on it and compare it with ride quality of ICE vehicles of same category like Creta, Seltos, Taigun, Harrier, Hector, Nexon EV, Kona EV. I know it is not possible always, but since you are doing this as a case study of using an EV as a daily car, I would like to know about the rear seat comfort also for the sake of older passengers.
