I got as far as pushing out the pinion axle a 3/4" but it wont pull out any more. You used a screw driver through the roll pin hole, I may have to concoct a slide hammer attachment for that!
Hi Ronnie - do you mean taking out the crown wheel and pinion etc? maybe - seems to work fine though. Was never sure what a 'set of drifts' really was though, which is probably why I don't have any. I go to toolstation.com and put 'drift' in the search box and come up with just one hit that looks totally wrong for what I need. Do you have any good pointers?
