Even as we progress to digital media and maybe even holocube storage, one _does_ miss all the little quirks of VHS tapes, especially the little "dial tones" at the end of the tape and the opening and closing screens. All this MGM/UA stuff takes me right back to the old days of the Bond tapes.

Also, MGM Holdings will be renamed as a new public company named "MGM-PBS" due to buying PBS (the Public Broadcasting Service) and PBS from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (as National Public Radio will establish National Public Television). In 2021, MGM will restore itself back to it's original ways, with MGM Animation reviving, MGM Home Entertainment reviving it's DVD/Blu-ray and 4K UHD distribution arm, and MGM buying PBS and PBS Kids, so that MGM will own PBS in the future. Epix will be renamed as PBS Moviez. United Artists Releasing will still be MGM's distribution unit, but United Artists Digital Studios will be defunct in favor of Amazon Studios/MGM digital distribution deal.
