30:24 Possibly one of the few MGM shorts that actually teared me up at the end. The choir at the ending still makes me shed a tear.39:33 If anyone can use the current MGM logo with the fanfare here to show what Ben-Hur would be like upon remastering the OG and make it a video, I would be forever grateful...it would work perfectly with how the zoom-in would sync with the music.
Ive always wondered if Metro and Mayer simply didn’t have any on film logos or if they were lost in the 67 vault fire, ‘cause I know a lot of the pre merger films burned in the fire
when I watch glamorous Old Hollywood movies from MGM I have three songs stuck in my head. 💛Whoa, we're halfway there... Whoa-oh, Livin' On A Prayer...💛 🎬Better stand tall when they're calling you out, don't bend, don't break, baby don't back down...🎬 (It's My Life) 🎞🤍Shot through the heart, and you're to blame, darlin' you give love a bad name...🤍🎞 All of which are in my head while watching Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland, sometimes both!

The first Goldwyn lion looked really cute. I love that after the merger, and before the talkies era, the M-G-M (classic abbreviation) lion (what was his name?) just sat there and looked around right to left. Then Leo with his roar changed everything!
i Think it had something to do with Metro and mayer Being absorbe into Goldwyn pictures and not the other way around. + it could also have something to do with what the lion symbolizes. but i coul be wrong
a spanish voiceover variant can be heard on 3 tom and jerry cartoons on the spotlight collection 2. the episodes are: polka-dot puss, puss n' toots, and one other episode on disc 2.
16:42 Ugh... i see why they dont do that anymore. (in other words, not their best logo) Edit: 23:36 oh Nvm i forgot about that one which is much better (which is actually pretty impressingly made atleast by the time it was given)
There is one logo that you’re forgot to add is from the original “Annie” where that logo variant was shown after the song “Let’s Go To The Movies” where it doesn’t appeared in this logo history. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9Y9eyMYG3rg.html
I see that MetroMetro-goldwyn-Mayer is your favorite Logo and I was wondering if you have any logo histories for Columbia Pictures? Let me know and BTW How did you gather all these MGM logos? Have a great day!

1:00:38 fun fact: metro godwin Mayer uses a animated versión of leo (the lion what appears in the metro godwin Mayer logo since 1922) for the NEW oficial pet of metro godwin Mayer in december 2021 or january 2022
And the pet works in a NEW serie of the pink panther in 2022 (because is two big cats, one is a panther, not is black, and not is Brown, is pink, other participates in a studio enterprise)
