1. Shower if you are bloody or dirty 2. Choke recruits for information and morale increase 3. Stand under the construction site so a box falls on your head 4. Travel by jeep 5. Do target practice side ops 6. Research and develop weapons and items / fulton staff in 7. Extract animals [Spoiler] for your zoo [/Spoiler] 8. Customize color of base/vehicles, your DD logo, your weapons There. I saved you 11 minutes. :)

This might sound really minor. But I seriously wish the bridge from each platform was like half the size, It's way to long.

They missed the most important thing to do at motherbase, which is to go to the medical platform and at the top floor find the door that opens and unlock a secret cutscene. Without spoiling it, just know it's very significant with regards to the events of Ground Zeroes. Also, rescuing animals increases staff morale, gives you extra GMP, increases your heroism, and grows medicinal plants making motherbase all around more productive.

Another really useful tip - travel around mother base using the cardboard box. There is an area right next to each platforms main landing zone where you can use your cardboard box to fast travel around the base!

I wish that Ocelot would tell you that you're pretty good after target practice.

The number 1 thing to do at motherbase is find the Door on the Medical Platform.

Actually no, the Jeeps will be on the base even if you have not extracted one.

and still can't figure how a game with this beautiful visuals and costumizing and places and the length of the game is only 21gb? this is insane.

I bought Until Dawn instead of this D: I have to admit I'm not disappointed -AT ALL- with Until Dawn... That game is amazing but I should totally have gotten this one first ! It would have lasted me all month ._.

Wish you could explore the interior of MB a little more. A mission where you have to fight through enemy invaders through offices and facilities would be very cool

9. Go to the blue door on the top floor on the medical strut. Enter it, walk down the corridor and press the button on the next door. Theres another door that is currently red on the top floor of the command strut. I have the feeling that both will blow your mind.

It's fun how all their reactions seem valid at first, but as you get further into the game, you realize how little there is actually to do.

There's a faster way of getting around mother base than driving the vehicles. Go to one of the collection points (there's one on each platform) and get in your cardboard box. Then you'll be able to hold the triangle button (PS4) and can immediately be dropped off at any other platform. Much faster than driving. Also if you bring up the map while at mother base, you can easily identify where exactly these collection points are. Hope that helps.

Things to do at Mother Base: -Take a shower -Interrogate guards to find the location of rough diamonds around Motherbase or get some pretty obvious tips -Find the 2 anime posters around the Main Platform -Go to the Medical Platform at the third floor and look for a door with a blue light,go inside and them open another door inside to trigger a hidden cutscene and "side ops" -Perv at Quiet on Medical Platform -Go to Quarentine Platform to see the Skulls trapped (If you have extracted them) -Take a walk at Animal Conservation Plant -Use delivery points to travel across Motherbase instantly (Small orange platform near helipoints,use cardboard box on them) -Find easter eggs and emblem parts across Motherbase -Everytime you go to Motherbase bump into the 4 guards saluting you at the helipoint,so that you increase their morale (You dont need to punch them or anything,just bump them or go near them and they will salute you increasing their morale,you can increase a soldier's morale only once per motherbase visit,so dont bother trying to increase even more)

Correction: Jeeps will be at motherbase when you grow it no matter if you Fulton one or not

Can Mother base get Attacked randomly?

I picked up this game recently and it is amazing

The jeep is there as soon as you develop another platform. I can't even extract any vehicles yet, but I have jeeps at my mother base. Also, hitting your staff does not increase their moral.

damn the E3 demo motherbase is so lively, why they didnt put it that way ?

As a Norwegian, I hadn't expeced to ever hear A-ha in a videogame, let alone in an MGS game. That's cool.

In the demo they said everyone's base will be unique and different. How? They are all the same. You can't change the layout of the base you can only change the colour (there isn't many) and your logo. That's it.

I set my helicopter music to "I will always be true" because it makes for hilarious air strikes

You guy know you can travel even faster between the bases by going to the drop off platform on each main platform and equipping the box. It transports you to any other platform within seconds! Try it!

Those jeeps on mother base appear whenever you build a new platform, I didn't have the ability to fulton out jeeps for a while but I still had those on my base

Actually you get a jeep per base that you construct, you don't have to steal/fulton them. I never stole any and my base has one for every bridge. What does happen though is that if you fulton any vehicles, you can ask it to be dropped at drop points in a mission or at the Commence Mission screen where you choose a character, buddy and (voilá!) vehicle.

I was expecting to see helis flying around, more dd soldiers, watching them train and doing their tasks etc. And seeing kaz and ocelot talking to the soldiers or follow you for a while with a small breifing

Anyone remember Quiet charactor save problems? How quickly we forget Mantis tried to delete our save files in MGS,Guns of the Patriot.

How to attack a freinds mother base? And do we or the opponent need a FOB to play multiplayer?

For someone like me new to this series all the options and things to do in this game are a bit overwhelming but i at least i got my $25 worth. Man i got a lot of things to remember just for this game.

Where do you go to do the FOB? i cant find a option anywhere.

The funny thing is, that during the mission "a heroes way" all the presentations had snake get detected, and kill a lot of people, and on the first, I blazed thru it and got S rank

I haven't gotten to that far to be able to Fulton vehicles and such, but when you expand the base they automatically give you a jeep F.Y.I. for everyone

Two jeeps appear on MB as soon as you begin building extra areas without needing to steal them from Afghanistan. I don't think you can bring them into the field, however.

You can also get the jeep and other vehicles via challenge tasks.

I have a questions can you redo a mission to extract specialist you missed the first time

I've kind of run out of stuff to do... my GMP is maxed, my resources are maxed, my FOB's are all complete, my staff is maxed, my developments are all but done... wish we had more uses for all the gmp and resources.....

I don't have my Fulton leveled up enough to steal the vehicles, yet. but they are still at my base.

I beg to differ on #4: Use the Cargo transports (Yellow cargo pads on each platform. Any box will do.) rather than the jeeps. 1. Within seconds you get to the other platforms faster (No need to drive) 2. No need to stop/ park a clunky vehicle 3. Classic Metal Gear Solid style of transportation.

Just in case people don't know, whenever you make a new platform there will always be diamonds. Finding then might be a hassle but you can Interrogate men stationed at the new platform and they will tell you that they've hid them and they're location.

Jeeps are actually available with each platform you build.

That jeep is not there because you extracted it. it is just there with base upgrades. Also imagine showing off the jeeps and not the box method of fast travel. Absolute noob channel and still is years later.

I dont think you really have to steal the jeeps in order to use them at motherbase. I had developed another platform for the first time, and they just showed up there.

Don´t move around mother base using the jeep as this video states folks. There is a more efficient way: use the delivery points (little boxes on the map) by standing on them while sitting in one of the cardboard box items!

Reminder u don't have to use the helicopter or the jeep to go to each platform u can just go to a box drop off point which is on every platform then get in your box then just hold triangle then click on what ever platform u want

The strength of metal gear.. I felt like a kid again a second ago breing afraid and nervous what to do about those skull soldiers damn that was amazing, only mgs can do that with me!

The mother base is pretty disappointing in my opinion you can't customize anything except the color, the is no indoor area and most important there is nothing to do.

I got all the targets there within 25 seconds 100% accuracy. The smg is perfect for it. And trying hundreds of times.

Just started playing today, I'm surprised how fun it is! I just got my base and it's a really cool feature. Not bad for a free game (I got it free with my Gtx960 :)

You don't need to extract a jeep to have it appear in Mother Base... If you do, that would be pretty weird cause I don't even have the fulton cargo 2 upgrade so couldn't even extract a jeep if I tried... and there are loads on my base.

that 2:30 is not true the JEEP is not there because you extract it is there automatically when you build the base!
