+Simon Restrepo Haha, well its pretty simple, MGS is a massive game, with lots of story, a lot game mechanics, all great stuff, but time consuming. Time i don't really have, if i would start playing MGS now, it would be like playing heavy rain while watching tv. I couldn't follow the story, only bits and pieces, no time for side missions... not the way MGS is meant to play, so i play a much lighter game, which i can play without gifting it too much time. ;)

MGS is more important

Get this! This game has so much content and multiplayer plus future DLC hasn't even been released yet obviously. It's a really fun and interesting game.

Multiplayer is being released in October. So for now there's the story and fob(its building another motherbase but other players can attack, while you can defend)

+MrTbone845 No remakes so far. just remastered. I suggest you get The Legacy Collection for PS3. There was a rumor (since 2014) that the collection will be available for PS4 too but until now there is no confirmation on that. I love MGS 1 when it first come out. A little less love for MGS 2 because of the Raiden character but the love grew even bigger with MGS 3 and MGS 4. Although I still consider MGS 3 the best of them all. Perhaps MGS V will the best after this...perhaps.

MicrowaveBackground I respectfully decline sir. I understand they are good but this game was pretty much my dream stealth game. The story was just a bonus. I understand why people who played and loved the other games would be disappointed but for me, I loved the gameplay. It was one of the best stealth game experiences I've ever had. And I actually really enjoyed the story as well even though it wasnt much of a story just things kind of happening... I still thought it was great. And honestly, not playing the other games made it even better for me. Being able to piece together the story, figuring out things on my own, it felt great...

MicrowaveBackground also when that guy says "they have no idea what they're talking about or doing" that is just completely false. Sure, I might not have experienced the other games to the fullest but I know what's generally going on. I didn't play this game for the story anyway I was strictly in it for the gameplay, but I ended up loving the story we got even though it wasn't much compared to the other games. Some of my best gaming experiences of that year were in MGSV. I know what I'm doing in the game, I've S ranked everything, collected mostly everything, done all of the side ops, and I don't need to play the other games to know how to do those things.
