I would say we are all alone on this planet as individuals, and it is often only before dying that we realize this. Most MGTOW in some sense realize this, because the one main emotional outlet we have is taken away.. women. Obviously women themselves get a pass in observing this fact, in that all of society basically caters to them, and for the most part there is always someone who will be there for them if they are ever lonely. Most men don't want to deal with this fact, hence the drug-like addiction to female validation.. and why they look at anyone who doesn't share the addiction as some an addict would look at some "square" who is against drugs. The best thing you can do is utilize the fact that most men are addicts and most women are oblivious, to your advantage. While they are running around chasing the same futile relationships, that means less competition for you in achieving your own goals and finding more stable methods of gaining happiness.
I've almost given up on talking about this stuff. It falls on deaf ears. A friend of mine was complaining to me how stressful his relationships with woman are. Then, in mid-sentence, started hitting on our waitress. I asked him "What are you doing man?" He got this confused deer in headlights look. He quickly laughed it off but it's as if believes he must always be "on" the hunt for the next disappointment. What pains me the most is his experiences with women are causing him real health problems. Another friend regularly sends me pictures of women along with captions like "Oh man she's so hot!". I'm passive about it and don't respond. I hope he gets the message. The silly thing is every time I meet them we go through the same cycle. They complain about women, I explain why, they acknowledge it then they step into the ring again for the next round of battery. This video hit close to home for me. I'm 23 going on 24 and recently I lost a friend that I've known since he was 11 years old (4 year difference between him and I) to a girl. The evolutionary takeover is complete and he's lost to me. I've lost another friend in the same manner and while it saddens me, frankly, I don't give much of a shit anymore.

So many good points made in this video. All of them resonate with me. A few of them: -The more I understand women, that less I am able to connect emotionally with any of them. And, without an emotional connection, a woman is really just an object to be used in masturbation. Hardly worth the effort, expense, time, all the pandering needed, etc. And, when you add in the huge risks, sex just isn't worth dealing with anymore. -I distain conversing with most people today. It is like a ritual chant of small talk. Nobody cares, and nobody is really even paying attention, they are just going through the motions. Their small talk is just so devoid of meaning or sincerity. It's actually a shock when I encounter someone asking something sincerely, or stating something of meaning. -I had the same issue with my brother who likes to put on holiday dinners (mostly to show off his big house full of stuff). A few years ago, he got so carried away that he couldn't even tell us what day or time he wanted me and my father to come over for that particular holiday (about 4 times a year). He did this several times in a row. He would say something like "it is either going to be Friday or Saturday, I am not sure what time. I will call you on Friday and let you know when I can do it". I told him that didn't work for me. He tried to paint me as ungrateful for not appreciating his efforts to have a holiday dinner. I told him "look, you get approximately 140 days off work a year. If you can't set aside half a day on at least 3 or 4 of those 140 days, then this just isn't important enough to bother with. And, don't give me the ungrateful bit, because it costs me about $20 worth of gas and 3 hours of my time just to get there (and back). I can have a pretty good dinner right here for $20 and spent my time on other things if this isn't important to you. I am not going to put my life on hold for days waiting to drop everything at a moments notice to come have dinner with you". I had to skip 3 holiday dinners before he got the point.
I've noticed that whenever a friend of mine starts a relationship with a woman, they tend to drift away in terms of time spent just hanging out...and when I finally do get to hang out with that friend for a halfway decent period of time (let's say, an afternoon) his thoughts are occupied not by the act of social male bonding, but with what his girlfriend/wife is currently doing...whether the woman is worried...what the woman wants him to pick up on the way home for dinner etc. Either that, or the woman is constantly messaging the friend via text...for whatever reason. I also notice the compromises these friends start making. Stuff they said they'd never do, I see them doing "for my wife" or "for my babe...". Compromising personal standards for the sake of a woman? Ridiculous. These days, when a friend of mine says they've found "the one" or that "I'm seeing this really nice girl", and ESPECIALLY when they say "She's pregnant...I'm so happy!...", I simply say "good luck with that, man", and don't go out of my way to contact them again. If they wanna contact me and make an effort to keep the friendship then I'll match the effort they put in, but through trial and error I've realized that a man cannot go his own way and have friends that are married/ seeing someone/ has kids. My worst nightmare is that all my current good friends disappear into the night with some woman, breed, and are never to be seen or heard from again.

A child sucks up what seconds may have remained...every moment spent with a friend is a moment a man could have been spending with his woman or child. Guilt drives him to spend as much time as possible with his family or woman because it's the "right thing to do". This is why I don't go to any extra effort to try, because that might make things for my friend even worse as he'd feel like he's letting ME down by not spending time with me. These days I've embraced the hermit lifestyle and I don't regret it.

I've lost more female friends than male friends since going my own way. Telling a woman I do not condone marriage or having children (in a traditional manner) seems to be their kryptonite. Most shrink away and some get angry. A lot of my male friends agree with what I say, but still can't seem to overcome the pressures of society telling them they have to get married or 'settle down' and 'look after' their woman.

Unfortunately I'm at an age (mid-twenties) where the peer pressure to engage in the mating ritual--whether low investment (ONSs and FWBs) or high investment (LTRs)--is astronomically high, and where avoiding engagement can be very costly socially; I'm sure many younger MGTOW are in that same boat. Unfortunately, every friend/acquaintance I have--from teens to 40s--is reflexively beholden to his biological urges, and none of them seem to have sufficient introspective or observational capacity to be otherwise. As an addendum, the formal, brick-and-mortar workplace--which, if I'm not mistaken, you seem to have basically escaped from at the moment--is a whole 'nother ballgame. In particular, I imagine being a Sexual Dissident in a male-dominated line of work--such as the skilled trades--could be a nightmare, unless one plays his cards right (or just shuts his mouth and nods his head and smiles in proper coordination at the correct moments). I don't think it would be possible to advance in those lines of work without tacitly agreeing that pussy is the be-all end-all of male existence (after all, who would want to work with/promote a guy who's not "one of the guys"?). As someone looking into the skilled trades myself, I guess I just have to keep faking it until I'm able to (hopefully) manumit myself from the drudgery of formal employment. I don't think putting up a hugely dissonant facade for 40 years is good for one's physical or mental health....

Once you truly "see", meaning that you understand something so well that it has fundamentally changed you, you can't really "unsee" it. Knowledge just doesn't work in that fashion. My point... Your friend is stuck in the loop because he is fundamentally unchanged, despite the words he has heard from you. I used to have a boss that would have hour long strategic conversations with me. Afterwards, I would think, "Maybe, now, he will understand." I owe you so many video responses Stardusk. I know you don't know me, but my life has been made so much richer because of your videos. I honestly feel like I owe you money or something, for listening to all your content for free. I don't feel quite right not only because of all of your content that I've listened to for free, but also so many other MGTOW here on RU-vid I've been privileged to listen to. I guess the best I can do right now is to offer encouraging words and tell you that what people like you in the RU-vid MGTOW community are doing is offering an invaluable service. Myself and so many others are in your debt. I'm going to be honest, I heard some hurt in your voice in this video; maybe masked as annoyance. Nothing at all to be ashamed about feeling hurt at the impending/potential loss of a good friend. One of my best friends acts in a very similar way to the way you described in this video. But for him it's not only his non-MTOW lifestyle, but also his career and religious beliefs that have caused our interactions to become more infrequent. He's a lawyer and a christian who wants to get married. I am none of these things. But it hurts because he's probably the most intellectually honest friend I've ever had. We used to meet up at least once each year in person (we live far apart now because of our jobs), the past 3 years we have not met up. I miss him. The way I see it. A young, attractive woman's presence is like the gravity of the weights I lift. There is resistance. i wouldnt say you cant entirely go back from mgtow but your gonna have to walk, its much easier to learn something then to completely unlearn it and if you learn abit of it again you could easily relearn everything. i would think of it like a cliff, its very hard to climb down without falling to your death(endless red pill rage, depression or literally), it takes alot of energy to climb back up but once you get to a certain point its easy to get back to. its up to men like you to point out where on the cliff where those still standing at the top can safely hold onto while exploring the psyche so as to not be standing at the top of the cliff holding on for dear life.

jedi run Heh. I'm not actually a fan of "high carbs" - but I don't think carbs are bad per se - high glycemic index foods might be. It matters how fast the carbs enter the blood as to whether the body can handle them or not.And as for "work for me", well mentally I felt best on a diet that was somewhat below average calorie intake, but percentage wise a high fruit content, moderate fat and low protein (but not low on amino acids, people like to mix that up). If where one lives has mostly high acid fruits to offer, it grinds on the teeth, though, so I'm back to more starchy stuff, but not high-GI.
It's consoling to 'meet' a living (unlike Nietzche) man like you who has the same (intellectually) induced asexuality. There are so few of us, except that I am 22yo, of only slightly above average intelligence and have light asperger's syndrome, as well as a Dutchman. You describe my feelings, or rather, the lack thereof on sex perfectly. Eventhough I've only had it a dozen times with two girls, I ended up breaking up the relationship because I felt absolutely nothing but repulsion and apathy after a while. It just happens, like something that sneaks in at night. Suddenly you see how disgusting, base and inane it all is. All that gigantic effort and for what... Incorrect. Carbs are the only macronutrient that one does not need at all. Whilst it is true that brain requires glucose to run, this requirement does not exceed 40 g of carbs, all of which can be synthesised via gluconeogenesis, specifically from branched chain amino acids.
ThinkingApe-TV You can make glusose from lipids too..Just need pyruvate as a precursor and a healthy liver. Without the ability to conduct protein less glycogenesis fasts would alot more detrimental than they are ..Have a gander at what this guy did...www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2495396/pdf/postmedj00315-0056.pdf They did the lab work keep tabe on creatine and he didn't lose an appreciable lean muscle mass.
dudeschmock I would agree that in nutrition, one size does not fit all, but the idea that carbs are essential is simply not true; can they be helpful in some cases? Sure. Explosive power (sprinting, weight lifting, etc.) is often best served by using muscle glycogen rather than ketones, which still does not mean they are essential. Without protein and fat however, we will eventually die, the same does not hold true for carbohydrates.
