I actually saw this same "seller" on Amazon selling MH3 for $320 and i looked at their reviews and said why would they have MTG cards 😂. I passed on this "deal" because i figured it was a scam😂 glad i did.

Yup, brother ordered 5 boxes off of Amazon, received 5 packs despite listing saying he'd receive sealed boxes of 30 packs. When he called Amazon support, they wanted a $4.50 return charge. Ridiculous

Something I learned early on in collecting and pinching pennies is that sometimes paying a little more ends up making you more money in the long run. Sometimes you pinched too hard and you end up missing opportunities, other times you lose quality which ends up costing you more. And when you reallllly crunch the numbers its pretty negligible long term. I equate it too people who travel to another gas station to saving 2 cents/gal. If your tank was 20 gallons thats 40 cents you save, you might not even pick that up off the ground.

I had it once, the golden goose encounter. It was the phyrexia all wilk be one compleat edition bundle, saw it on amazon for a little under 75 euro a box, so i bought 4 bundles opened 2, of which immediately pay for themselves even with the dip in the market. Still have 2 left, which now cost around 110 to 120 euro a box without shipping.

Thinking in terms of time is a trait that very rare today. I used to work a union job making $25/hr driving forklifts. It was pretty great. When guys making more than me talked about striking for a $1/hr raise they didn't understand why I said it's not really worth it. At my rate, every week I made about $1k before overtime/taxes. If we struck for a month, it would take 2.5 years for me to reach the break even point.

The issue with this one, is it was the default seller setting from Amazon. So Amazon themselves effectively were pushing this seller without the consumer being aware.

When I buy a stock, I expect it to go down. AND (almost always) if I don't buy it, it goes up. In the short term, the 1-5% drop.... is NOTHING, in the 2, 5 20 years I plan to hold the stock. The same rule applies here. If I can save 1-5%, awesome, BUT... in the long run, if I don't, I don't even feel the extra few dollars I could have saved. Short term, flipping, makes money. Long term flipping, makes wealth... Which would you rather have?

Seriously like I only needed like three carts from this set all I need it and just regular prints and if I do have the money for those specific cards for a collectors version of it, I would buy it as a single sometimes buying a single is not too bad instead of buying a box

I was wondering why my Amazon order was not in a Amazon box with the Amazon tape on it. I took out my camera and started videoing it. Everything was there but the order was delayed early in the morning yesterday around 9am which was really weird. I choose ships from Amazon so that I know Amazon is has the product on its shelves. but after hearing this, the delay and the box situation I think Amazon might be lying about what they keep on the shelves and trust others not to pull something off.

For a few minutes AMMON had listed MH3 Collector boxes for 4.99... a steal for a stainless steel ice cream scooper.

Thanks to that fraudulent seller I was able to snag a box directly from Amazon for $329.99 when they started price matching it. Mine was a legit box so guess that worked out pretty well!

I've been wanting a Zelda led game for a while, but it looks a little gimmicky. Was hoping more of a magic based action/rpg like combat system but I'll still be playing it. Perhaps it plays better than it looks. I kinda guessed Metroid Prime 4 would finally be shown so that was nice. My guess is it will be cross platform with the next system, either that or it's the last big game on switch. Excited DQ3 remake got a release date and the first two games also got a remake coming.
