Well, a funny thing happened. I had the Hermituar LS forged, and then did the three quests to show it in action, which unlocked the urgent. It was a rough video, with the T.S Zamtrios smacking me around and me being foolish by fighting the Rathian while khezu was in the same zone. After I was done, I go to upload the video, ONLY TO FIND OUT THE RECORDING DIDN'T SAVE!
Hence the title of the session. I decided to redo those same quests in the same order.
G- 1 Nerscylla has a few new moves, but they are very easy to avoid and the strategy of sticking to it's abdomen doesn't change. So there really isn't much to point out. I guess if you suffer from arachnophobia that walking bite would be terrifying. As for the Tiger Stripe Zamtrios, it loses the ice armor gimmick of it's glacial cousin. In return, it has gained paralytic bile and has a much wider variety of attacks while it's inflated. I find the fight to be much better than regular zam, and the devs did an excellent job showcasing and harmonizing it's two different states, with attacks that transition smoothly between them both. The second go around was a much cleaner battle than the first, and I shaved 6 minute off clock this round. As for the khezu/ rathian quest, I decided to wait it out for a bit to keep the two in different zones. This worked out to an extent, as both monsters were not in the same zone for very long, resulting in a much more fun hunt for me. Rhezu has some new moves and there was a moment where it made a perfect combination of the electro bile back attack and its body shock. It uses it's electro breath attacks more often than the normal variant, however the strategy doesn't change much. Finally, the rathian also has some moves added to it's choices of attacks, but they didn't really get used against me. I will say that this was probably the cleanest rathian hunt I've done in a long time. I felt like a top tier player.
Capping off this long description, I will be farming the hunt-a-thon khezu quest to get some mats to have the final form of the eager cleaver forged. After that it's the urgent.
