damn, i thought daora was the best pierce option? is very slow reload worse than moderate recoil? i don't know where moderate recoil sits on the spectrum from lowest to highest
You don't even need to worry about moderate recoil, since all level of pierce can shoot normally with it, but very slow reload? yeah no. It kills your overall DPS beacuse how slow you load your pierce ammo, combined with Daora HBG only capable to load 3 ammo per clip. Yep, auto reload elemental shot is better for Daora.
Pierce lv2/1, aim for his wing arm while making sure those piercing shot hit his leg/back as well. Stay on his left side and use shield attachment for his roar (if you can't evade his roar well). If you're still early, like village early, I suggest Meteor Cannon or Piercing Crab with Reload Speed +1.
