Yes, "rare species"

"Name: Oroshi Kirin (キリン亜種) Average Length: 549.8cm Average Height: 357.3cm Foot Measurements: 26cm Order: Elder Dragon Suborder: Phantom Beast Family: Kirin Habitats: Everwood, Tower" "Oroshi Kirin is a subspecies of Kirin that was recently discovered by the Val Habar district of the Hunter's Guild. Oroshi Kirin shares many of the same adaptations as Kirin, though there are a few differences between the two." "While a hunter was patrolling the Everwood, they felt a sudden freezing sensation in the air and came across a Kirin with black fur that was covered in cold air. The monster had a presence of mystery about that couldn't be explained." "Since Oroshi Kirin is a recent discovery and there aren't many sightings of this elder dragon, the Guild hasn't tried to properly investigate the monster yet due to there not being much to go on. Compared to Kirin, Oroshi Kirin is considered to be more phantom-like in nature." "While Kirin controls lightning with its horn, Oroshi Kirin is capable of controlling cold air with its horn. With its horn, Oroshi Kirin can lower the surrounding air temperature and create pillars of ice out of the moisture in the air." "It can also create icy fogs that'll encase other creatures in snow and ice. In one legend, it's said that this old divine elder dragon used its frozen horn to freeze whole kingdoms in a single night." "Not much else is known about Oroshi Kirin." "Sources 1. Monster Hunter 4 2. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate 3. Hunter's Encyclopedia 4 - pg. 54" (-) twitter.com/BannedDino/status/1317112331768418306?s=20 *Source: BannedLagiacrus Twitter page*

"Name: Kirin (New World) Title: Phantom Beast Average Length: 536.26cm Average Height: 406.36cm Foot Measurements: 24cm Order: Elder Dragon Suborder: Phantom Beast Family: Kirin Habitats: Coral Highlands, Hoarfrost Reach, Guiding Lands" "Size Comparison Old World (1st Gen) Average Length: 464cm Average Height: 220cm Foot Measurements: 20cm Old World (4th Gen) Average Length: 549.8cm Average Height: 357.3cm Foot Measurements: 26cm" "A legendary monster that is rarely seen by humans, Kirin is a majestic Elder Dragon that can be found both in the Old and New World. From its elusive nature, not much is known about it, but recent studies by the commission are helping researchers better understand Kirin." "While most Elder Dragons in the New World primarily live in the Elder's Recess due to the abundant energy there, Kirin have only been observed living in the Coral Highlands." "Since there are few sightings of Kirin in the New World, it's believed that they primarily live in secluded areas that have yet to be discovered by the Research Commission." "Kirin sightings have increased from Zorah Magdaros's recent activities changing the ecosystem and flow of energy in the New World during the latest Elder Crossing, causing them to come closer to areas that are studied by the commission." "Despite its size, Kirin is considered to be an Elder Dragon from its influence on the environment's weather. Whenever one appears in an area, a thunderstorm will suddenly appear, darkening the clear sky, indicating that a Kirin is near. Most monsters flee whenever Kirin appears." "From its immense power, Kirin isn't bothered by other creatures being near it since it knows most monsters wouldn't dare try to attack it. Like other Elder Dragons, it knows its stance in the food chain and doesn't have much to fear except for a handful of powerful monsters." "Kirin is well known for its control over electricity, able to freely control the element using its horn to summon bolts of lightning to rain hell on all that opposes it." "Not only can it summon lightning, but it can cloak its body in it. Kirin's fur is used for producing and storing electricity within its body, and, when greatly enraged, it'll overflow with the energy that it has stored inside of its body before a burst of lightning surrounds it." "In this Thunder State, Kirin's control over electricity greatly increases, and it's now capable of summoning massive thunderbolts that can severely shock enemies to death. If that wasn't enough, Kirin's hide becomes nearly impenetrable in this state." Click on the link: ( twitter.com/BannedDino/status/1272385146193416193?s=20 ) "Electrical signals in its body stimulate all of the muscles in its body, causing them to harden greatly, thus preventing any weapons or attacks from damaging Kirin easily. These electrical signals are also the reason why Kirin has outstanding strength." "Kirin is capable of jumping long distances and great heights as well as balance itself as it gallops up walls. While Kirin is small, it's physical abilities are quite impressive." Click on the link: ( twitter.com/BannedDino/status/1272348094630440962?s=20 ) "New World Kirin aren't too different from their Old World cousins, but there is a unique lightning-based attack that they've been witnessed doing in the New World. These individuals can leave trails of lightning on the ground that cover a wide radius." "A trail of light caused by minerals in the ground will be left in the area, indicating the attack's position, before the lightning strikes. It's believed that they can do this due to the New World's unique ecosystem, or it's something the New World Kirin learned over time." "Kirin's elusive nature makes it a mystery, but we're slowly starting to learn more about the species. It was always speculated that Kirin wasn't a predator, but Kirin has finally been witnessed eating dew-covered plants in the Coral Highlands." Click on the link: ( twitter.com/BannedDino/status/1272358185467289608?s=20 ) "Often whenever Kirin eats those dew-covered plants, some fur will fall off its body. Kirin hasn't been seen drinking from any water sources or ingesting anything else, and it seems it only needs a small amount of water to produce the energy it needs, at least hypothetically." It has a theme? Why did it play generic boss theme for me?
@anonymousalien7417

This is actually the Tower/Forlorn Arena theme, but Kirin shows up a lot here so it's considered Kirin's theme, like how the Verdant Hills theme is technically Rathalos' theme

Ese es el tema de La Torre ;-;

@airoc8270 Год назад
