Canta, your videos have helped me so much in terms of positioning, optimisation and sets. A few questions, however: 1- is the demon dance really that effective in terms of DPS? I've heard that it can be sub optimal a lot of the time 2- how do you learn the timings for the fence? And 3- how did you grind to consistently get the good charms/stupid amount of dash juice? Love your videos man!
Wait, I just realized but... YOU'RE USING THE TOUCHSCREEN FOR THE CAMERA ?! How ?! How can you play a MH game on 3DS without a "Circular pad pro" (Or something) or a New3DS ? And how can you be so pro while using it ?!
Actually, i'm pretty sure Canta uses start/select to do spin2win, since his touchscreen button is 'menu' instead of special attack You can also bind a bigger button to perform the special attack which is imo much easier to use than the tiny ass button in the top right.
Jho getting exhausted this quickly is actually bad RNG. You'd want it to be enraged as often as possible when it's this small since the belly is easier to hit consistently than the head and the attacks in rage mode are easier to exploit.
CantaPerMe yeah i agree with that. It's easier to stay under his belly when he's in rage mode, when he's hungry he does those weird side crunch, which can be really annoying
Bienyyy Same. first try Deviljho with adept lance 13 min. can't fight both tigrex and narga. failed 3 times the quest. adept LS and finally i did manage to kill narga first tigrex later.
For me, Jho wasn't bad. I mostly run adept bow, which has a pretty bad "power gradient of a hunt" problem. Combine this with sleep bombing, Jho was cake. But fml when tiggycuga came around, because I was OUT of coatings by the time I got to Narga.
I Provide Useless Statistics for Your Pleasure It took me 27 mins with Adept GS (full Ancient Armor set) the first time to do the quest (had to do it 3 times since I needed the carves), killed Jho in just 6 mins... In case you ask about the 20 mins that need explaining, well, it was me running around and letting Tigrex and Narga attack each other after running out of Potions after the damn fence kept going down at the worst possible time and I kept getting pincer attacked...

Why this armor and not the Toka armor with hayabusa feather? I rock that set with the same skills as yours but with critical eye+2 and critical element instead of weakness exploit. Which is better in terms of damage output?
I was hoping to ask, when it comes to weapons of the same element does it matter which one I pick? For example I'm trying to get some dragon Dual blades, there are two different ones I can get but would it matter which one I picked?
Yes, it matters. Most weapon types have multiple choices but there's often a better option. Though they may both have the same element, one will have higher attack, better sharpness, or higher elemental value. For instance, the Astalos DB are fine, but the Kirin DB are much, MUCH better due to higher Thunder value and insane sharpness.
l've done Fry Pan dozens of times. I would often speedrun this quest using a different weapon each time, and post the results to Miiverse. Which part gives you difficulties? I can give you some advice if you want
Most people can kill the Jho but then lose it when the Narga and Tigrex drop. The key is bring *Smoke Bombs* and as soon as Jho dies, drop one. Then sharpen, heal, eat a Might Seed, whatever. Go stand by the fence switch. There are two sides of the arena- one is kinda stepped and the other is sloped. You want to be on the SLOPED side, that's where Narga spawns. Stand on the sloped side, watching Jho's corpse. *The moment it starts to fade, hit the fence switch*. Now you just fight Nargacuga alone, he has very few hit points. Remember to *periodically throw smoke bombs* so Tiggy doesn't see you even after the fence switch goes down. Finally, Narga will be dead and you're left with just fighting a Tigrex in an arena, no big deal. This process usually takes me 13-16 minutes depending on the weapon.
Eon Fontes-May my main problem is I play too aggressively, I don't wait for openings with Jho so end up carting over and over again. watching this video however gave me some more insight on how to deal with him a bit better. Thanks for the tips 😊
You may know this, but you can set the start button to kick/special in the options, making it a lot easier to spin. And it makes you accidentally kick people when trying to open the menu, which is always fun.
