There are many ways to use TCS 1. Angles 1st hit to avoid coming DMG (Odo, kulu fight) 2. Using Back step of TCS to avoid dmg (Rath, Rathain fight) 3. Using Move forward of TCS to relocate (Anjanath fight) 4. Targets weakness by 1st deviate non-target (Barroth fight)
There are definitely ways you can use lock on and use TCS, but it is much more limited and more about using it on the right timing when your target is in-between large movement patterns. What makes the movements you see in this video so unique is how he is utilizing the way the character moves in each stage. From the slight back step while getting into the TCS stance, to the forward movement on the initial strike, and then into the TCS. Definitely not something you can do while using lock-on.
I meant we ussualy using this for sleeping monsters so we won't hit them on 1st slash.. is it realy can dodge attack just by looking to other side? I didn't know so when we start charging we take back step to the right or left to dodge the attack?
Yes. It shows in the video that he dodges the breath by doing so. Which is why he had to make a drastic turn so he would take full advantage of the step back motion to get out of the line of attack.
