I like how Hunters actually "whisper" if they put down a bomb next to a sleeping monster. I found it ridiculous in base Rise that they yelled at the top of their lungs.
@@baconboi4482 Yeah but his whole thing was that he is so cocky about his armor that he didn't give a crap about the Hunter at all. Only until they truly pissed him off would he be mad.
Personally, I'm very happy they add Espinas here. I'm delighted if I could see the main title players enjoy fighting Frontier monsters too. Though for Espinas, I've got to admit I don't really like them change his fighting gimmick to generics like this. Espinas is unique because of his sleepy and drowsy phases, then fighting for real when enraged.
while I will admit part of the personality of espinas has been lost by having him fight for real as soon as he wakes up, I understand why they did it. is not particularly exciting or engaging to constantly bounce off the thing while it slowly walks around, specially with the fast intense combat rise has. yeah, the first few times it would be funny and quirky, but as you fought him more it would become a bit of a drag
@@Deoix9877 That's fair, but at that point I have to wonder why they added Espinas to Sunbreak in the first place. The fact that we got a Frontier monster on the main series for the first time since Gen 2 is huge, but of all the Frontier monsters they could have chosen why did they go with the one whose defining gimmick is antithetical to the game's mechanics?
I'm happy to see someone miss the shots and get hit like me when I play MH, I'm tired of super pro players who kill everything very fast and make everything very boring..
@@Shiverwar lavisioth came to the mainline games aswell as frontier around the same time. Frontier fans got mad about it and that's why they haven't added any frontier monsters until now
I was excited to see a returning monster I've never seen before as I had never played Frontier! But then it just had a moveset of reused animations from other monsters... A certified Frontier moment to be sure.
so now the hutner can just deadass pull an entire huge monster with such force it smashes into a wall. ... ... this is not monster hunter...this is too one sided. when the hunter becomes the monster, you lost the whole fucking point of MH. god I hate it. where is the challange?
@@david_8916 the clutch claw is also awful especially the tenderizing stick and dance. nut this is even worse, you just flick it into a wall mid combat? its too easy. nothing about monster hunter should ever feel too easy. thats the point. hard won victory.
