I love this run. Exploiting monster staggers with Courage Hammer feels like smart play. It is also something Courage does much better than Strength due to being able to combo charges and them having so little commitment. I had a lot of fun recording this.
Fun fact I noticed: the amount of Zenny obtained by completing this quest (17,640z) is the exact same amount of HP of the Nargacuga in the MR6 quest "Advanced: Hail to the Fierce".

Level one is enough. More Attack Boost is more important :) I have the Golm arms for Focus 2 mainly, and the great amount of slots!

Charge Master 1 has a 1.1 ele modifier, but only affects the first hits in the Courage Combo, not the additional hits

Great run! I've been flipping through the channel for these. Love them. My friend was a hammer main but Rise made him unenthused with it. I'm a hunting horn main but hate what they did to HH in rise so I've been weapon hopping. Decided to try Hammer since my friend dropped it and these videos have been great, especially as I also want to learn the different playstyles it offers between courage and strength. So thank you! I have a question. When a monster is downed, sometimes you use Big Bang combo, and sometimes you just do the ZR ZR ZR charged swing thingy. What factors makes you decide which one to do?

You've watched the guide so you should have the answer now ; I do Courage Charge combos to put monsters into Wyvern Riding state faster so I can sharpen my Hammer ;)

That was amazing, i try to understand courage style, but i don't get theconcept, i still play the hammer likei do in iceborne. You too, you've notciced thos black rectangle in all the map. What are they ?

hihi lynn, I love all of your runs! I was wondering; how do you feel about a non elemental courage hammer set, or is strength hammer just a lot better for raw?

Thank you that means a lot to me! There's so many players out there I'm happy people like my channel for some reason :) As for raw Courage, honestly I am not sure yet. My personal consensus is that element should always be used against monsters who have a 25+ element weakness, and if not, then Poison or Blast status should be used instead. For example, I am preparing a run against Kushala Daora using the Chameleos Hammer with Courage. For pure raw, then Strength Hammer is indeed the best.

Quick question. Is the spinning bludgeon into big bang worth to waste that much time for the elemental status and dmg? Or just stick to the courage mode charge attacks?

Somebody brought this up on another video considering I always keep impact burst active. I think it's not worth it. The movement makes it difficult to aim it, it doesn't deal that much more damage than a normal big bang, and it takes longer to perform.

Yes. This whole run I had to remember a precise sequence of staggers/topples/dunks/KOs on Narga as to keep him downed as long as possible and also not miss my attacks due to staggers

It's in the settings, under "Controls". Select "Buttons for Wyvern Riding" -> B (Weapon Sheathed) :)
