The description coupled with this being the surprise monster, I feel like this is a petty jab at Gaijin Hunter's opinions and less of a simple disagreement. I understand that covering new content is the main point but you could have chosen any of the announced monsters like Chameleos, Kushala or Teostra. You could have even chosen the solo Apex monsters. Instead you chose one monster that was specifically not shown in the announcement.

I didn't seek out this video, it was suggested to me. I don't use RU-vid for only Monster Hunter and its ridiculous to say just stay off social media when nobody knew there was any spoilers to avoid. I work and can't play an update the moment it comes out. Regardless of what anyone says, I was spoiled because of this. Thanks a lot, assholes.

Look guys, I totally respect your opinion on spoilers to a degree with regards to Bazelgeuse, but you gotta understand that before the internet became a basic, almost essential everyday part of our lives, it was much easier to avoid any spoiler. for me, getting Bazel spoiled wasn't the end of the world, because i'm used to have minor spoilers all the time (Not that i enjoy it, but i accept them). But I also think it's unfair to those who wish they could avoid them to say things like "Just don't use social media and play the game". We live our lives both off and online. It's not the easiest thing in the world for a lot of people to flip that switch. I don't want this to come across as me preaching to you, because I do think you're allowed to post videos. I just want to try and understand the perspective of those who really wish they could avoid them, because man I didn't even try to see the bazel spoilers lol, they just popped up on three separate notifications on my phone that sorta just showed up on my lock screen before i had a chance to stop them.

I don't really care about spoilers, but... TIL 17 hours is apparently enough time for the entire world to explore the new game content that was dropped on a weekday. As if everyone plays this game for a living, lol. What a joke. You have the ability to change the title and thumbnail post-publish. It would take very little effort to have a a thumbnail and title that contain no spoilers and a spoiler warning, then a week later switch to a standard thumbnail and title for posterity. But instead you choose to have literally 0 respect for your audience because of your fear of missing out. I was never subbed, but I guess I'll have RU-vid stop suggesting your content.

You can do all the mental gymnastics you want, it's still a spoiler for the sole reason that the developers didn't include it in the trailer or notes specifically to keep it as a surprise. Believe it or not there's still people who aren't at endgame, it's crazy I know, nothing to do with the internet being sensitive. You could at least be honest and say "we want the clicks because it's a hot topic and RU-vid favors such attitudes". You're just excusing your selfish behaviour especially when other channels are avoiding spoilers for at least a few days.

HH isn't as flashy as the other weapons, but I do believe that hunters aren't exploiting the fact that the notes are extremely simplified now. The buffs are great, use it in a team.

TBF, RE the spoilers, I unsubbed around launch when the final boss videos where uploaded. Worked fine and wasn't fully spoiled, beyond the sillhoette and that it was a serpent of some sort (enough to put me off). Won't likely be resubbing, but it is easy enough to just avoid specific content creators who dont care so much about spoiling things for players. Quite a complicated topic really.
