Start your expeditions at night every time, the upsurges will last 16-17 minutes when you do.

I've exhaustively farmed up Zenny and Armor Spheres in preparation for this, so I may be at the Volcano to use my usual route by the time I need money, but this is much appreciated as a backup for just in case. Thanks!!

One extra tip, Gaijin. If you take less than 5 minutes to run your route, the game doesn't count as a "quest complete". This means the argosy, upsurge items, and any other mechanics that would get updated when you conclude a quest stays the same, allowing you to do the route again and again indefinitely by just reloading the area. Since you took around 4min to do it even with some mistakes here and there, you could: - Do the run - Complete the quest after the last mining spot - restart the investigation and all mining spots will be reloaded with the upsurge (and same monsters if that interests you) It adds a little extra time to the run due to loading but takes out any down time from running Fire lanterns over and over

Thank you. This is an absolute blast of a route. Didn't realise a better route existed! Thank you! A helpful tip is to use your dog's Sniff em out to highlight all the mining points so you can actually use those as a guide to where the mining points are.

Im sure someone has said this already but if you quit out of the expedition before 5 min pass, the outbreaks dont update meaning you can essentially do a loop of gathering, quit out, and start again ad infinitem

You can use the "sniff it out" command for your palamute to mark mining outcrops if you are having trouble remembering the spots they appear.

Hello Gaijin still waiting for your honest review about Sunbreak. As a long time fan since MHFU. IMHO the game felt lackluster compared to the other G-Rank expansion they made.

if you eat for Dango Harvester all the nodes should have refreshed by the time you get to them. I've only tested with level 4 Dango Harvester (hopping skewers) but it probably works with the lower levels too

I assume that you get more money here is because of the master rank ores? How does this route compare to the lava route?

Umm... there was a second camp in the Jungle...? I come here for a zenny guide since I've run a tad low, look you up and find out after playing MH Rise and subsequently Sunbreak since it came out, that there was a second camp in the Jungle map. That is embarrassing lol... but nonetheless very much helpful after all this time lol. Thanks for this Gaijin.

Nice one! Btw I thinkk you probably overestimated the timers for unexperienced players, I'd be saying more like 20-30 min. I'm not unexperienced and I go around 10-15. And that's with a mixed high rank armor with lots of good skills on it (LBG).

To be fair you don't need money in Sunbreak. You get golden and platinum eggs after almost every quest. Kamura points are much more precious and I do sometimes find myself doing gathering runs during local item upsurges to get a refill.

hello i'm struggling to get to the spirit combo with the long sword aerial style in MHGU(MHXX) when i vault i press R then R then X and X and it doesn't work maybe i'm messing up with the right button but i couldn't find the right combo because all tutorial i've seen is just saying (1 2 3 4) but i don't get what should i press in 1 2 3 or 4 so i'm stuck. By the way when it comes to vault i press B the jump and then any attack boutton the get in the air so it could be (X, A, R) but no matter wich one i press first the spirit combo doesn't start

I think that if you're willing to wait, the Master Rank Flooded Forest is a better run, assuming you follow the usual route. Why? Because the mining nodes there now give Purecrystals and Novacrystals instead of Lightcrystals and Novacrystals. Also, be careful once you hit MR 3-Star - there's a noticeable jump in the monster's power there. Even with the best available armor, many monsters can still 2-shot you unless you go out of your way to max out your Petalace - especially Garangolm and Shogun Ceanataur...I could almost swear I was fighting Rustrazor again in the latter case.

ngl i stumbled across this video at mr5 already and unlocked mr lava caverns so while it would seem fun to learn this i got the lava run already optimized
