I wanted to watch this to take notes on optimal Lance play and wasnt disappointed. Every movement had a purpose, every attack on its mark. Definitely subbed for more! Thank you for the demonstration
I just started using challenger mantle as a means to tank on multi-player whilst using the Lance. But using impact mantle for ko is something I hadn't even considered.
Never seen a Lance speed run before. This weapon actually needs more skill than you think. And you literally take no dmg but when you do, you heal it without items. I guess that's true endgame. Namielle is my favorite monster now btw. Before it came out in iceborne it was Bazelgeuze
If the enemy is stunned for clutch claw, you can hold down L2 and press the right analog stick(R3) to toggle to claw shot mode. Unsure if it save more time than the sheathing method. But sheathing method works as well. good lance play. :)
Mikail Efendy I saw many lancers opting to just sheathe because of how clunky the clutch claw input is while the weapon is drawn. Similar cases for IG and Bow users.
For my its a little complicated, sometimes cant throw the clutch claw, it gets stuck and hold the claw for a defensive stand waiting for a counter attack.
Now japanese youtubers start to show up on my youtube and i dont regret it, your gameplay is very smooth! Keep up the good work! My question is, how many runs have you done with lance ?
@@elwenlie The kulu-ya-ku lance is actually pretty crazy for a master's touch build. 598 base raw, plenty of white, base 25% crit, rarity 10 (Can have 2x affinity without sacrificing health recovery augment), and can use non-elemental boost bringing it to 628 which, while a little less than nergigante's, the sheer amount of affinity more than makes up for it, especially since crit damage matters so much more now in master rank. Also... *custom augments.* Yes, you can also add 5 custom augments for either another 5% crit, 5 attack, 5 defense ect. (GO WITH CRIT) My Minqar al-Nasr II has _45% natural affinity from augments alone._ With lvl 7 crit eye and lvl 4 attack boost, that's *90% affinity before weakness exploit.* I use 3 piece teostra beta (go head gauntlets and coil) brute tigrex chest, and garuga legs, and ofc ironside charm V. For the build, focus on crit eye 7, crit boost 3, attack boost 4, and offensive guard 3 as priority. The awesome thing about this build is you don't have to use any more weakness exploit than lvl 1 (which comes with the brute tigrex beta piece), so you can go with guard up and mind's eye and not sacrifice dps!
@@elwenlie No problem! If you don't have a mind's eye jewel, yian garuga's lance is an option since it can reach purple sharpness. It's basically the same raw as the kulu lance, but it requires wasting slots on handicraft and it's rarity 11 so you'll have 5% less affinity... Really it's all about what you enjoy, I just personally recommend the kulu lance since it's more versatile. For example I actually only used 4 custom augments on my minqar al-nasr II because the 4th crit augments gives it an ebony odogaron aesthetic and I didn't wanna make it look like namille's, so my build technically has 1% less affinity for fashion purposes xD
