I like how the best part of Namielle's theme is the riff 15 seconds in, but the best part of Zingore's theme comes after 1 and a half minutes of being mounted

Holy crap this seriously Sounds absolutely better then the original Version of Zinogre's theme in world. I honestly wish they use this theme more often Like when he reaches his charged up state. I just mostly prefer the mount theme when he reaches his charged up State it's more fitting if you think about it more lol. It gets me pumped up when i hear this theme everytime i mount him.
Can we just appreciate it takes an already solid revamp of a classic theme and the mount version just smashes it out of the park? The drums add so much hype and energy to it just dear lord.
There can not be any doubt that Zinogre is just the best monster in the series His music, his look, challenging fight but not too hard or annoying, AND he's a good boi! What's not to love?
Yanno, I kept wondering why everyone and their mother was talking about the zinogre mount theme Fought him this morning (mounted him ofc) I understand.
I just fought him a couple hours ago for the first time and when I jumped on his back and the drums started playing the adrenaline started jumping HARD
My buddy, new hunter, listening to me squeal about how cool Zinogre is: "Ay yeah he's pretty cool!" Zinogre, taking the chance to backslam a distracted hunter: 2:03

Do mount themes actually play when you're mounting a monster? I can't seem to hear it, though maybe it's because of all the background noises combining making it hard to hear
It does, although it's more audible in some themes over others, like, it's easier to hear a difference in the Teostra/Lunastra theme, Bazelgeuse's and Zinogre's than some others
O5 this track, Yian Garuga and Namielle have the best track in the game, honourable mention to rajang. I like this mount theme the most but my favourite overall is Yian Garuga
