I know Sub 5 is possible but Nergi needs to behave for that to happen. This personal best is pretty satisfying so far and I hope I can push it in the future.

Im getting the impression everyone thinks tds are the only runners and no one are better than them even tho there are plenty of runners to watch who dedicate WAY more time and effort into their weapons and the game but simply get shit on for not having tds infront of their names

HCZS OH NO THATS NIT WHAT I MEANT, if I offended you I’m sorry, I’m quite new to monster hunter so I don’t know many runners, so they usually come to mind first when I think of runners, I also mostly mention catching up cause I know TDS for the bowfins which I have a hard time using, so I’m sorry if I did come off like that.

It's just that previous bad experiences with fanboys that would go "hurrr hurr ur not tds member u suck" "this was ok but tds can do better" I love the team but some of the obsessive toxic fanboys would occassionally pop up and it's rly discouraging to see. Im glad ur not one of em and i apologize for my thin skin.

You can get a sub-5 when Nerg chooses to behave. So 2022-25 then? Great job. I assume getting caught in his roar at 2:32 and a couple of times more was a calculated risk? What I don't get is why he doesn't get flinched out of it by a full SAED to the face? Nor that we don't have hyperarmor during that part of the animation.

The trick with those divebombs is that they act as kinda like damage gates, they prevent u from locking Nergi any further and yea sometimes u gotta take risk of getting roared, which btw doesnt rly lead to much dps downtime anyways.

U can also see why i choose to delay SAEDs and other attacks during the divebomb animation, have to time it just right before the super armor runs out

I don't know u can dodge the scream with a step dodge.. its so impressive how u have made it ? U have press X just before he scream or when u ear the scream ?

It's neither , so the key to doing it is timing the frames of ur dodge at the EXACT time he roars. It's alot easier to do with evasion mantle or evade window but with base i-frames it takes abit of practice. Generally u wanna memorize the timing of his head shooting up and opening his mouth, which sounds complex at first but you'll get the hang of it.

@@HCZS_MonsterHunter i success sometime to dodge the scream but its like 1/10 times.. :/ and with evasion matle its 8/10.. i know practice but sometime even if i press at the exact time i got hit ;_; i want sometimes this software where u see someone press a button of the controllers for see what momebt exactly he press the button ;_; but gg

Aphy Hentai it takes practice, some people can do it 10/10 times. There’s no “software” issue its just practice.

@@Cres99 He's not talking about an issue or anything like that. x) He's talking about the software that some streamers/youtubers are using to show their command inputs as they play, so he can see the exact timing he needs for dodging.

it lets u block and counter all of his moves, including the metal spikes, thus creating more openings for damage

I have the Emperor's Eye to predict the future (in all seriousness, the key thing is watching which hand goes up during the animation, the hand he raises is the one he shoots spikes out of)

That build is not good enough. Zorah 3 piece loses sharpness too quickly and cannot fit in guard 5 to counter Nergi's tracking divebomb. Because Nergi hits fast and has huge knockback moves u shred through sharpness too quickly with Zorah set, whereas Master's Touch lets you kill Nergi without losing any sharpness and fit in guard 5 for free without losing core damage skills

HC ZS I’ve searched for guard 5 with artillery 5 and I failed... looks like your set is better.
