It's due to the learning curve. It takes so much practice with this weapon, and you have to practice with each monster directly. This is also in a small area with nowhere run, with certain things to help with damage output (like the falling boulders). This person is extremely skilled at what they do, and I would never be able to keep up. I can only hope I can get my lance skills back to they way they were, before I moved on to other weapons T-T
Oh? That's neat, I guess. I mean, I could say the same, but unless there's proof we did it, it seems like we're trying to blow smoke. Also, least used weapon doesn't mean you haven't played it much. You could have easily put 50+ hours in all weapons, and only 45 hours in the Lance, and you've still put more practice in than a lot of people.
Lance does have low damage, they are right. The thing that makes up for this fact though is the damage up time you can maintain with it. Though there will be weapons which beat it even then. But of course, I have to say this so no one gets mad, play what you want; it's a game.
I won't say that Lance is weak, but you need to be literally perfect to get this much damage from it. Other weapons can perform better with much less effort.
The weapon is the strongest version of Lance we ever get with additions of offensive guard and clutch counter. And it's the most fun version of Lance up to date. It's the players who lack skill and knowledge to play it properly so they say "the weapon is weak" or "lance is bad". Even with average skill you can get amazing results. Most people dislike lance gameplay because they're so used to LS and DB hack and slash.
