Horror can let you explore your range as an actor. There’s only so much you can do playing the girlfriend of the lead who says a few lines and don’t really do much.
@davisneves Pearl is a teenager in the prequel, which takes place in 1918 during WWI. Given X takes place in 1979, and Pearl is roughly sixteen in the prequel, which makes her character is around 77 years old in X.
@@davisneves no shes not. Pearl is the old lady in X who starts killing at the porn stars including attacking maxine. Maxxxine takes place years later. pearl and maxine are two different characters. Re-watch them if you are that stupid.
Heard that it's barely a horror and really toned down the gore. Which is a real shame. I guess the Director pussied out and wanted to be more commercial. If so then lost lot of respect for him. The last two were great. Why change the formula and end the trilogy on a low. Sad.
