As a girl raised in Miami, this is exactly why I moved out 🤦♀️ the average person and family can barely afford an apartment without being considered “house poor” let alone afford an actual house. Love and miss my croquetas pero damn 😬
As a Miami born and raised person, it’s insane to think that “regular” people are totally priced out of places. Midtown literally didn’t exist some years ago and used to be the projects…🤷🏾♀️ As a school psychologist, I could never afford these places! The video was still nice to watch, but it definitely made my home purchase in Tampa the right choice for me!
Born n raised here n My 1 bedroom in midtown is $1400/month but my building is income restricted so that price comes w zero amenities just in unit washer n dryer
Miami is the worst city too start a living .jobs don't pay none and the cost of living is very expensive.come on people don't be blinded by fake properties markets advertising .take a minute of reflection before you make any decision and than later to say I regret it enormously.if you rich retired Miami could be right but not someone in middle class who wants raise a family.the traffic in Miami is a headache specially with all foolish drivers around .i would not suggest anyone to come live in Miami.its a banana boat city.peace and be smart.
Miami is so fun, love to see how much it's growing. New buildings popping up all over the city, especially in downtown! A nice perk is having the train so close to ride into Brickell- for shopping, eating, etc!
It’s crazy how all of these landlords are truly just multiplying the rents because so many new Yorkers can afford to pay the rent and placing bids on renting apartments now. Landlords will raise a rent from $2,400 to $4000 and up now and they would rather kick out the miami locals to please the new real estate market boom in miami. Literally that apartment at the beach would have been around $2000 a month before covid and it blows my mind how the rent has skyrocketed, even for ugly and old apartments in other areas of the city.
im getting divorced and i cannot find a rent for myself after a month searching here in miami. everytime i find one apt there are tons of people bidding and my offer just gets turned away for a "stronger one" this is really frustrating and im forced to pay 1200 for a small crappy efficiency
I love Midtown, but I don’t think I would ever want to move there. These three areas are very pricey and you’re really paying for the view, area, and beach. I think the traffic is terrible there and super crowded. I love the city life but as I got older, I think I prefer lots of space and comfortable living
We gotta tax the hell outta anyone who comes here, it’s getting horribly unbearable in terms of price manipulation and affordable housing for people who are growing up here.
It's not a coincidence that the crime has come down a significant amount by pricing out the people who grew up there when it was one of America's most dangerous cities. People are moving there BECAUSE it's expensive.
Great video! I'm moving to Miami in like 3 weeks, can you share the name of the last building in Brickell that was $2400? I will be working in the financial district so I'm trying to get close and that apartment was perfect.
That building is called Muze. It’s a nice building. That area is technically not Brickell though. Once you cross any of the bridges in Brickell you enter into the Downtown area
@@solitude-lambo Sorry for gravedigging, but did you move from out of state, and how do you like it in Miami one year on? I am about to turn 30 and I want to move to Brickell to be near my parents, but I've never been to Miami. My parents seem to think it's dangerous everywhere. I will visit prior to moving, but I am interested to hear your experience now that you've had time to get situated.
my mom n I watched this video while on vacay in fl! haha looking to move to fl in the next year and loveddd this video thank you. highly highly enjoyed
If you want to see a nice tour of the Brickell area check out Walks & Wall Street channel live. He walks around that area for over 2 hours and you will get to see beautiful buildings and surroundings.
I'm just not a city person like this. I like character and privacy. That last apartment especially would make me so anxious with all those buildings around and so many people who can see into your apartment....I can't imagine living like that! But from what you said you are looking for, the last one makes sense for you!
I believe you can buy one way privacy film. Im in fort Lauderdale and you can only see into my apt at night but in the morning , the outside color of the window changes.
I thought they were all nice but I like the first one cuz the pool area was beautiful. Even though the building is older it is very retro and they did a nice job renovating the interior. I have been fascinated the past several months watching videos of Miami. Thank you for giving us tours.
Nice video. I guess for legal reasons you couldn't name the apartment buildings but I would love to see you do a video on the area Edgewater. Especially since now, they are building the new Aria Reserve Twin Tower Luxury Buildings which I think will transform that area even more.
I'm in love with the one in Brickell! I'm looking to move out of Jersey but damn, Miami's prices aren't any cheaper. All of Jersey is turning into Miami prices😓
Decent insight into these areas but would be helpful if you included the square footage of these apartments. Also, Who said your can't smoke in apartments? That seems like misinformation.
In south beach, most of the luxury buildings are in South of Fifth area, (sofi) so south of 5th street. It’s the high end residential area of south beach, cosmopolitan is a cute building. Pura vida is in that building. Also, Sunset Harbour is nice also, near Trader Joe’s. If I moved to south beach, I’d love to live in South of Fifth. Right next to the south pointe pier park. Cute apartments, Nice variety!
literally went apartment hunting to that first apartment last month, such a nice building. and felt the same way about the balcony because it wasn't that much private but still gorgeous
1 . I had no idea he was that tall lol 2. My friend lives in Brickell & she loves it ! She lives in a high rise similar to these & her view is amazing 😍 Seems like Brickell is the place to be ! Thanks for sharing these ! My vote is for apartment #3 too
Wow you put a LOT of effort into your videos thanks so much for all of the research. Question: my girlfriend and I are moving to Miami. We want to rent out something like a coffee shop or yoga studio or something and start building community with other awesome, positive people. Any idea where to start out search? Appreciate you!!
What was that Brickell apartment complex? I'm intending to move down to Miami when my lease breaks in the DC area, and after seeing the apartment you showed at that price point, I'm sold. I've never even been to Miami before, however, my parents live in Naples. I want to be close, but not too close!
Hello this was a really good video. I’m currently living in Connecticut looking to move to florida by next year. Can you give me the names or addresses of the last two apartments
Hey you! Yes you! Looking at this right now. You're beautiful. You're amazing. You're flaws they make you beautiful. They say that nobody's perfect, but someone out there you are. You're perfection to them. Perfection exists. So even you, thinking right now, this is true for everyone, but for me, You're Beautiful, Amazing and absolutely STUNNING! 🦋✨
I loved your video synced you covered 3 areas of my interest. I own an apartment in south beach 4th street or SOBE on the water that I rented this year for 2400.00 .I could easily charge 3 k but i prefered to charge less to someone that i knew and that would take could care of it. The apartment in Midtown is the apartment that my son lives in . I love the pool area and the gym and the barbecue area. A two bedroom except with a better view. Finally Brickell is an area that i would love to move someday . Thank you for all the info.
Hi! I was thinking about moving out of Massachusetts and I wanted to move on or by the beach because I ❤ the water and the sand also I wanted a big place to call my own, can anyone🙏please help me with any ideas and help find an apartment that is affordable in price range that I am comfortable with it would be nice
I'm moving back to Miami..I was raised there till 27 yrs old, then I moved permanently to Vegas for 35 yrs! I'm interested in moving to Coral Gables, & my 2nd choices would be Miami Lakes or Kendall..I'm looking for full Vegetation! I miss it and I need it? I used to walk by a fully vegetated surrounded sidewalk and would be like freaked out that a giant Cricket or a snake would just pop out? Lol Now..I don't care! Just get me out of this Desert already.😳🤔🤔🤔
After 6 years living in Miami, I think that the apartments are beautiful but the city is… just not. In my experience it was like a super pretty girl that when you meet is completely empty inside? 😅🤦🏻♀️ Glad to see the pretty side of Miami through you though, it helps me keep a positive perspective about it! :)
loved your commentary of all the apartments, literally thinking the same ... I just moved to Miami from Cali and me and my fiance are looking for condos sooo stressful bc dont know best areas .. ty! for your video
Lived in south Florida my whole life finally moved away to fort Myers to continue saving for my home purchase in come year once markets are better. Living in Miami is a scam at this point the sqft and amenities don’t even justify the prices there asking.
