I'm not a racist and at least 4 out of 10 women in my life were black, especially from Cuba. but in the last few years I have noticed a huge increase in blacks at Miami spring breaker with problematic appearances, and I'm not talking about Haitians or Jamaicans, I'm sorry but that's the truth. This is why I can't stand Miami these days, I hate it, especially Miami Beach, North Miami and Miami Gardens, I'm glad I sold my Miami properties in 84 and moved to Palm Beach, I don't even like going to the Miami airport anymore, Miami is hell, and Miami Beach much worse.

I’m hip to what you’re saying but it looks like they’re all just posted up on the streets and sidewalks and not clubbing, but to my knowledge the clubs on the beach aren’t what they used to be 5-8 yrs back nor are they opened period I could be wrong, but regardless I think that part is what’s getting them upset because like you earlier last week I was saying the same when the mayor said “ the end of the entertainment district” 1. I don’t think that’ll happen 2. When it comes to “spring break” they just might close down but it comes with a double edge sword i think that’s what you’re referring to?
You are dumb as a rock. Crowds of this size are just prime tinderboxes for looting, rioting, and accidents, especially for drunk coked up "college" students. They only have a limited police force to handle situations. There will be violence. There will be murders. There will be accidents due to unsafe conditions. It's simple statistics based on crowd size. I live in a tourist town and when spring break comes, it means there's at least one or two deaths every day from a violent brawl or someone getting run over or a multi-vehicle pileup or a shooting. These aren't rich people boosting the economy. These are trashy poor people blowing their stimulus checks to party all night and cause mayhem. The amount of destruction isn't worth whatever pittance comes from serving them.
had a friend some years back that owned two clubs on Daytona Beach. during black spring break every year he'd 'remodel' his club. he'd have trivial shit done like some light fixtures, or change bar tops or painting. The city would get mad because other clubs and restaurants started shutting down to 'remodel' every year as well. finally, the city came through with a warning: open for black spring break this year OR ELSE. my friend promptly put both his places up for sale. Blaming the business owners, the police, or the residents doesn't begin to address the problem.

Has never crossed my children's minds to visit Detroit for vacation/spring break . So many young people these days simply do not wish to take any responsibilities.

to be fair, metro detroit is massive. Gross pointe woods and bloomfield hills are a few of the richest areas in America. Get on zillow and see for yourself.

If these visitors behaved normally and paid for their food & drinks and didn't start fights to get out of paying their $20,000 bill (yeah someone actually did that), the restaurants & bars wouldn't have to close.
