Chargers was running because they couldn’t pass on Miami Miami was willing to give up the runs than to give up catches to their big receivers that are hard to bring down. And at the end of the game it showed that the chargers couldn’t pass on Miami defense.

Herbert only threw one TD, defense showed up and played when it mattered most.

Fangio knew our offense could keep up, so he save a bunch of the blitz schemes for that last drive.The chargers didn’t know how to counter it because they didn’t get many looks.

I’m just happy we aren’t blitzing every 3rd down now.

Tua released the ball really quickly. Reminded me of the Flores seasons. In the chargers game, The line didn’t let any one go straight through them but they were pressured backward very quickly. I think they adjusted the approach from standing ground blocks to letting them push them back a little as long as they stay in front of them. There was a major adjustment made from last season but I still don’t think they’re going to be able to protect Tua, especially without Armstead. All it would take is a better defensive back scheme taking away the quick reads.
