This is a very light hearted take on F1 which I dont mind but for me there is no indepth knowledge. For example confusing points down to 12 affecting the construvtures championship is only valid to decide the position of the bottom three teams .Also saying the prize money means that the top teams will have a competitive adavantage as you can spend it on more infrastructure. There is a cost cap and even Haas spends almost at the level of the cost cap. If your a top team and win a large payout it just makes the team make a bigger profit . It cant be spent on developing the car more. The change of the regs was to make it easier to pass and not to force cars to be the same competitively although as time goes bye that happens naturally. The real reason why you have dominating car and driver combinations now is because of car reliability. Twenty years ago top cars often didnt finish a race and so many more people won races. Indycar is suposed to be better racing but the same three teams always win and one of those teams has been cought cheating.
If Adrian hasn’t made up his mind about he wants to do next, plus announcing in Miami that he’s taking a break, his retirement does have to be a possibility that everyone. Spec cars are the most uninteresting ways of racing. I know everyone wants to see who wins in the same machinery but then you take away the engineering and innovations that make formula 1 interesting if you go down that path.
