You know, people keep talking about what Cam Ward is and is not and how he lost 7 out of his last 8 games while at Washington state. When he was at Washington State, he HAD to try to make plays happen due to the lack of talent surrounding him. At Miami, he has a hell of a lot more weapons at his disposal to use. He won't have to put it all on his shoulders. Miami will win more than 9-10 games. The only challenges, if we're calling them that, would be FSU, Louisville, and NC state. I won't even say that Florida will give them a hard-fought game because Napier is a complete idiot, and that program is in the dumpster right now. I don't see how in the hell Miami loses that game unless Mario pulls a "Don't take a Knee part 2," and f@cks the play calling up. That atmosphere at the Gators stadium will be crazy hostile! Still think Miami pulls off the win. Barring Mario's bone-headed game management style and play-calling, there is absolutely no way Miami wins less than 9-10 games. Matter of fact, I'm putting them down to potentially go 12-0 during the regular season. Miami has literally bought and paid for some of the best players money can buy from the portal and high school recruiting for next season. People seem to forget that Miami is 1 of 3 or 4 programs that has the money and has spent the most to acquire top talent. Everybody keeps talking and focusing on what they haven't done since joining the ACC more than 20 years ago. What they're not talking about is how Miami hasn't had the level of talent over those last 20 years than they have coming in next year. Simply put, they have the necessary pieces now to make a run. They didn't have that since joining the ACC. Terrible head coaching decisions, non-talented QB's, no real wide receiver threats, no knockout RBs, Bad players, poor culture, poor facilities, etc., etc. All that has changed since Mario took over and they have gotten better each year under his tenure. No reason to think that they won't be even better come next season as well. If they don't there will absolutely be a magnifying glass placed up Mario's a$$ and rightfully so because you don't invest millions of dollars into a guy and pump tons of millions into upgrading and building new football facilities and bringing in players via big NIL deals to simply remain mediocre or worse. That $hit right there can't happen. If so, then Mario needs to go because if he can't win with the level of talent, he has at his fingertips than he's the problem, Not the players.

This segment should be exactly how every Canes fan should feel. Anything less than 10 wins is a failure
