Military Guide On responsibilities Fastest person in the company gets to be the guide on. First in formation always. Last to eat in the chow hall. Ofcousre never touch the ground.

My department you have to shoot at least a 40 out of 50 inside the 7 ring. Two shots from the 25yd line then everything else is at 15, 10,7 or 5, then 3.

So basically :) do the new officers get rifle qualification as part of basic training or only if they apply for SWAT or TRU?

Weapon Qualification should not be that hard if they really want it. Some people want to be the police for status and do not really want to do what it takes to get it. Most police officers are poor shots by nature, practice does make a person better but if their minds are not into it they never will get better.

I have a question in reference to wearing a vest . when do Mpd put on there vest. Sometimes I see cops with there vest and sometimes I do not see anyone with a vest. Do you wear it under your shirt or over? Do officers wear there vest all day or do they have to wear it at certain times..

In your professional opinion, why chose the .40 cal Glock 22 over the 9mm Glock 17?

How good are they supposed to be with a pistol on the first try? There's no way I could score a chest shot from 30 feet away on my first attempt.

You would think by now that they would ditch .40s&w for either 9mm (Glock 17) or 45acp (Glock 21). Recoil impulse isn't near as bad as .40s&w and many people would be able to qualify alot easier. Please people, don't go on this “one round is better than the other”. When you are talking about pistol rounds, they are all underpowered compared to a rifle round, which is far more effective. If I'm ever in a fire fight, my pistol will be the only thing on me unless I have access to my riffle.

This academy seems very soft compare to my academy. Their was no socialization except during a short meal period with other recruits, and definitely no celebrating of any sort if a recruit was behind standard qualification levels he/she or they were singled out and felt all the misery of not being “good enough”. Something like that kid giving a thumbs up to the camera would result in some major punitive PT.

If a policeman is not lawfully investigating a crime on behalf of the male/female victim and is entering YOUR company jurisdiction without you summonsing them, then would it not be advisable to be politely placing your public-servants/trustees under your notification that you charge $700 per hour/part-there-of for YOUR company time and also $700 for YOUR company performance?.....and that any further communicating (verbal) and/or corresponding (written) with your company, is with them accepting the terms & conditions of the commercial contract IN THE PRIVATE (the cop is now with PERSONAL liability) This way, you are NOT refusing to obey/comply with their orders/demands/questions/policy, but instead, you are now willing to perform WITH THE CONDITION that payment is with your company immediately, because you have NO CONFIDENCE with them administrating your company trust. THE TRUST IS COLLAPSED. Please remember that THEIR job is NOT YOUR job and that their company policy is NOT your company policy unless and until they are PAYING for your company time & performance. Are YOU not the Executor and the Beneficiary of YOUR company trust?.....leaving them to be the trustee whom are with their fiduciary obligation and duty-of-care to be NOT causing you injury nor damage nor loss nor harm. You may also be willing to pursue the matter through the small-claims-court and/or arbitration for remedy (arbitration is held in-the-private because PUBLIC court is only for the PUBLIC servant)
