Miami University - Guide to the Doctoral Hooding Ceremony 

There should be a video for faculty on how to properly drap the hood onto the student. I have watched several doctoral hooding ceremonies and the faculty do not check to make sure they have properly placed the hood correctly on the student. It messes up the photo and the back of the hood doesn't have colors shown properly.

Putting on those graduation gowns can be quite tricky.

I thought that the hood goes over the head
