I remember watching this trailer over and over when it debuted on the Barcadi website in 2006. I don’t think I have ever been more excited for a movie before or since. When I left the cinema on Vice’s July 28th opening, there was no question that is was my all time favorite movie. 15 years later, I love the movie even more.

I was also excited about the movie. My girlfriend at the time who is older than I am and more familiar with _Miami Vice_ was shocked. It was a great movie idea to revamp _Miami Vice,_ but the the story could have been written better.

Nope. Dumb as hell. Worst thing either of those two fingers actors have done. Story sucks. Acting is sub par. It's an abomination to what the original was. Should never have been done. I watched when it came out hoping so much it would live up. Was so disappointed. Years later, tried again. It still is a pile of crap. Even if they didn't put the name to it, it's still a pos movie. Nothing worth saving.

One of my favorite movies of the 2000s. This trailer brought back memories of when I first saw it on the internet back in the day. It just was super cool. It didn't tell you anything about the movie, just two dudes being cool with the great Encore/Numb mashup. When I saw the movie in theaters, it lived up to the hype for me. Great film and still holds its weight 13 years later.

This is an underrated movie. Too many idiots listen and believe the bottom feeder film critics which in turn influence their decision to see or not see a movie. Go see this movie, you'll love it. Especially if you like Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx.

I didn't care too much for the movie but this trailer blew my freaking mind in the theater. At the time, I didn't even know that a Miami Vice movie was being made. But the cast and the music choices and the editing here is one of the best trailers I've ever seen. Got me SO STOKED to see the film. Really did it's job.

I don't like to compare this to the tv series. Some people don't like this because it's so different from the show, but to me I see it more as Michael Mann's interpretation. He took the basics of the show and created his own Miami Vice.

Saw this amazing movie with my dad in cinemas when I was in my early twenties. Transformative experience and perfect moment in my life to see it. Really made me reflect on all the big questions: do you wanna be the best at what you do? If you get there is that gonna make you lonely? How far are you willing to go to achieve your goals? How much are you willing to sacrifice if you are in love? What a picture

I remember seeing this trailer in the IMAX cinema when I went to see “Deja Vu” and it stuck with me, I was more hyped about this one trailer than the whole of the film I actually went to see. It also introduced me to Linkin Park, brings back a lot of memories when I was in school… I haven’t seen this trailer since then & now it’s the end of 2022. Time goes so fast!

The film is underrated because most people who saw the movie were posers who barely saw the original show; they just wanted to be part of the hype surrounding the movie. The original show was gritty and a lot like this movie. If you don’t like this movie, Fast/Furious and Transformers 4 are probably your favorite…..

If you are a real fan of the original show, and take the film as an extension of that series, it works extremely well as a first jump to the "big screen". The people complaining most likely thought they were getting an 'origin' story when they walked into the theater, not a double-episode feature of Miami Vice.

Guarantee that all the people who hated this film had never watched Miami Vice on TV. The film was not perfect, (no film is), but taken as a feature part of the TV series it worked out fine. Like watching a double or triple episode.

Something this movie doesn't get enough credit for (other than being great)...it has probably the most realistic sound effects for guns that I've ever seen in a movie. Just a small thing really, but it's worth noting.

It's clearly a compromised vision of what it could've been, still very Mann, very enjoyable, although not quite as good as his earlier works (especially Heat, which is impossible for anyone to top). I still recommend it to people, and 8/ 10 times they enjoy it. Just a shame it's not what it should've been...

This movie is based on season 1's Miami vice episode Smugglers Blues with Glenn Frey. Same set up going undercover to espouse dirty cops. They even go to the exact locations and use some of the same dialogue.

I watched this move many times. And I always thought that this movie about tough guys and etc. But once upon a timebI understood that this movie is about hard choice between duty and love. And in the very end, when Sunny saved the girl, but had to arrest her, love won.

Im a fan of the tv show, I was kinda disappointed that switek and zito wasnt given enough screen time to show their comedic side, and also I didnt like the actor playing Lt castillo but he was okay, and lastly I was expecting they would play crocketts theme by jan hammer sadly they missed that opportunity.

They intentionally didn't, because that song as become too cliched. You get the first couple of notes in "A-500", and that was it.
