@@reginaldmccray8515 True Sec is the real deal . I’m a Miami fan and I know this . Doesn’t make beating 18th then the 17th ranked team a lesser achievement no matter which league they play in . If ANY SEC where to beat the 18th then 17th we wouldn’t hear then end of it .
Tyler Van Dyke touchdown throw to Keyshawn was amazing! Take a look at where he threw the ball…not to him but where the safety will over run it. Miami hasn’t had a 1st round QB in a min. Future wise…Tyler could be.
Yes. I rewatched that many many times looking at how he saw the dB coming in and threw it where he just was AND Smith saw it too. They were on the same page mentally and that's HUGE
Who was talking crap? Because I know I was worried the whole week about this game. Also side note Miami had like 4 unsportsmanlike conducts for talking so idk lol jk
My Canes finally have a QB VanDyke doing his thing. But the defense giving up to many pts.Secondary & LBs are not very good.Special teams is a weakness too
I have not been this excited about my Hurricanes team since 2001-2002 even the undefeated 2017 when we were 9-0 before facing them team here that ruined our season, I love these freshman, and Tyler Van Dimes is balling right now. GO CANES!!!!!
Van Dyke reminds me of a tradition of what it took winning 5 national championship way back in the day. Pure drop back passer give him some time for a receiver to get open and we see the reasons from his last 2 starts against teams that were picked to stomp the Canes .What I like about Van Dyke's is his confidence in drawing first blood upon the enemy sustaining good drives scoring early.Going to Pitt pulling off an upset of course took a team effort and some good coaching .When Pitt came out the second half tying the score liked they owned the place which they did the defense dug in deeper when it had to and the offense took control of the time.Miami traditionally beside from the quarterback usually have that one at least player on defense to stand out.I ask myself if the Canes wins all games the rest of the season should I want to see a coaching change.
The refs screwed both these teams holding Miami's dline all game long and calls against Miami should of been called that was a safety but not enough for Pitt to win Miami would of won anyways
Yeah it's refreshing to see we actually have a quarterback that can make all the throws and defenses have to respect. Tvd has a chance to be the best quarterback we have had since Ken Dorsey.
If it had not been for the young 'Canes that were thrusted into these games due to upper classmen injuries I believe Manny Diaz would have been let go earlier like Al Golden was 3 coaches ago. Those young 'Canes did their thing.
Big win. That’s the fight I want all yr. Questionable call on the safety but it is what it is. Now it’s time for the coaches to get the team ready against an overmatched GA Tech team. No playing down to them THE U
Yeah it's been along painful wait thankfully it's over we have our best quarterback since Dorsey. We have a quarterback that can make all the throws and the defenses have to respect no more stacking the box which should make our running game better and making us a complete offense.
Glad for the win. But this defense given up to many points. The main problem on D is that D line. Name one stud on that line... DBs and LBs running around all day.
@@zuupride Last 3 games they gave up like 120.pts. They are the worst tackling team in NCAAF. Can't continue to play like this, eventually there luck going to run out.
@@tyronecalhoun3968 If you're gonna call it "Shitsburgh" (despite Pittsburgh being voted America's most liveable city numerous times by Forbes over the last 20 years) why'd you move there in the first place? lol
The city of Pittsburgh went to crap ever since the steel industry went in the gutters and now Pittsburgh is trying to help out other areas in pa instead of focusing on their city
OK. 2:36. That in an NFL quarterback throw. TVD looked off his other potential targets, quick release, throw has plenty of velocity, hits receiver in stride.
@@Eddie_3607 yeah that dude was holding a choke hold on him but still no holding calls what else can you expect from the idiot refs .Miami's opponents been holding Miami all year long and I think only 2 holding plays was called against our opponents
That no call on the safety at the end of the game was the most outrageous thing I've ever seen. The ball never fully crossed the goal line and completely affected the outcome of the game. Those refs should be fired and that was embarrassment on the entire ACC officiating organization. That was a horrific call and inexcusable!
I’m not blaming him, but this game was literally lost by 2 passes from Pickett. Missed the wide open receiver on his first int and the 2nd int was a bad pass that should’ve been a touchdown.
From a UVA fan: I was rooting hard for Miami so we could control our own destiny in our last two ACC games to win the coastal. So, thank you very much! At least we'll have a prayer now, but I'm not liking our chances at Pitt very much. To Pitt fans: You have every right to be pissed. That missed safety was egregious. These refs were blind. I think an even worse call was that backwards fumbled rolled out right at the sticks, and the ref who was _right there_ spotted the ball a yard behind where it clearly went out. I have no clue what he was looking at. Thankfully for Miami, replay had a view that time to show how blind the refs were. But that no safety call... wow. I was already starting to curse Miami's conservative play calling when I head the announcers say no safety. Couldn't believe my ears.
Yeah man, Pitt fan here, the refs were just terrible this game, and I am worried Pitt is going to lose a spot in the top 25 due to it. I still think we will win the ACC, but it’s always a bummer to see games like this that could’ve been changed outcomes due to officiating. Good luck with your season.
I remember in 2013 when Pitt played FSU and a long time Seminole fan told me , be warned the ACC refs are by far the worst in the country, they certainly proved that again today. IT WAS A SAFETY!!!!!
Ima Noles Fan...BUT IM ALSO FROM FLORIDA AND LET ME SAY THIS...."CATCH AH RABBIT"...SPEED KILLS.. THEM BOYZ FROM UP NORTH AND ALL AROUND WASNT READY FOR ALL THAT #PERIOD
As a person who was at the game, this reffing is hands down one of the worst reffing I have ever seen. Funniest thing tho was listening to a whole stadium scream “bull-shit” at the refs.
At 3:32 DE Deandre Johnson (#13) is hog tied around the neck by the O-lineman, and despite the ref looking right at the play, no call was made as he pretended not to see it. Maybe his fat a55 got faded thinking about what's for dinner later on that night.
Both fan bases are irate with refs. So can we both just agree this? Plenty of calls to be mad at, blame the refs alone. This game we got the better end but for Miami all season long has been hell
@@mattfrye3738 my point. Many game changing calls. Like that drop that was a catch… but at this point as a canes fan. I’ve seen it all after today lol. It was a first down but my god the back and forth had me bad lol
"Condensed game"? More like censored game. I started watching and the FIRST 2 DAMN plays are edited out. WTF? Ordinary youtubers upload condensed games with all the plays. Why can't you? Skipping plays totally screws up the flow because you can't follow the downs. I watch a "condensed game" because I actually want to see all the action in order, not just approved highlights.
Look. I'm a Pitt fan. I'm not going to blame the non-safety call because bottom line is it shouldn't have come to that. Just like in the Western Michigan game Miami destroyed Pitt's defense with the RPO's just like the Western Michigan game Pitt got behind Early and couldn't overcome that. Both game Narduzzi's defense gave up 500 yards of office. This is year 7 of Narduzzi. This can't happen. People wonder why Pitt's don't show up to home games? THIS EXACTLY WHY! Yet again Pitt came off a huge win vs Clemson. Yet again when Pitt beat Tennessee they laid an egg at home. The question is can Pitt hang on to the Coastal? I know one thing, if Pitt blows the Coastal there's now why the athletic department and board of trustees can't justify keeping Narduzzi. No freaking way. That being said he still has 3 years left on his deal. Nobody know his buyout expect Narduzzi and AD Heather Lyke. Narduzzi Supposedly negotiated it himself.
Pitt is just not a very good team. They lost to western Michigan, and just lost to a 3-4 team at home. Pickett threw 2 picks, and they gave up over 400 yards passing to a freshman.
@@dagenius4926 Pitt has talent. Narduzzi's coaching is killing them. He made no adjustments. He continues to play too over aggressive. Pitt doesn't have elite corners to play this aggressively. Too many missed tackles to boot. As far as Pickett goes. The 1st pick hemissed Addison streaking down the middle of the field and threw it into triple coverage. That's on him. The 2nd int Addison cut his route off too soon. Pickett threw it were Addison should've been.
@@jasontroia3434 I lived in Pittsburgh for a year. Nobody supports that team. I rarely saw people wearing Pitt shirts or hoodies. That being said. You guys aren't ready for PRIMETIME. #GOCANES
Sadly I agree. That being said Neither is Miami. They've been just Mediocre at Pitt has been the last 15 years. #Truth. Ad far as people not supporting the team. Why would people want to support a team and Athletic department that can't get out of its own way?
As a Pitt fan this not surprising at all, I didn’t see game or highlights yet but soon as things looking good, we let it go… sigh… Edit: on to highlights… That sure did look like a safety Pitt should of had yet they had their chances, made to many mistakes n paying the price. I’m happy they’re doing better but losing games that they should win, it’s frustrating. Defense get your attitude straightness out!!! Stay fired up but stop bone head penalties!!
younger guys seem to lose coverage, but they are tackling much better. and the celebrations are more of excitement, than the other stuff. good to see the d tackles in the backfield, QB still making young dumb plays, when he clearly doesn't have the pedigree to do that. backs are to small for breaking tackles. he needs wide open holes. so on the one yard plays, they need to toss to the tight-ends, not run . beat FSU.. beat GT, and v-tech, and Duke, and it will be a better season. knowing all that, they will play and SEC team in a bowl game, and that will suck..
That definitely was a SAFETY but the can't see👀 for l👀king ass Ref's owe us one anyways!!!!! For a Championship game so..... With that being said GO CANE$!🙌🏈💯
Favorable calls, what about that big ass flop by the Pitt running back on 3rd down!!??? Hold the L like a man just comeback better next week ! They helped Miami In Pittsburgh lmaoooo..!!!
@@InterstatePirate alright, just to start Van Dyke flipping laughably leading to two non existent roughing the passer calls, a Pitt INT being stolen by a weak PI that was completely ignored the next drive when it was the Miami player. The flat out incorrect spot to end the game. The textbook targeting called off at the start of the game. Need I go on?
It was all for nothing. Loss to Western Michigan and unranked Miami. Not just a tough loss, but a generational loss. If Pitt was ranked #1 in the country the would still lose to Miami.
@@-bart9136 is that your only comeback? I’ve checked almost every comment and that’s all I’ve seen from u. Kenny threw for 500+ yards, but Miami scored more points than pitt and ruined his chances at a heisman.
