Even taking the multitudes of Miata represented at this event, I'm still impressed that there was a factory NB coupe in attendance. That is a proper unicorn.
The Dolphin Gray SE you pointed out with the M1STY license plate is a member of the Mt Hood Miata Club. We went on a run to Goldendale a couple of weeks ago. While having lunch, someone hit the car. They came in to get the owner, and at least they took responsibility and didn't take off. I don't know how much damage was done, as I didn't go look at the car. I felt so bad for him. It wasn't like the people didn't notice the 20 or so Miatas parked in the lot and had no clue to be careful pulling out.
I am sorry to hear that. I met the owners at Explore Oregon a number of years ago, and I am a member of Mt Hood as well. I hope they will be able to get it fixed to their satisfaction. I know what an ordeal that can be having just done it myself, and I hope to see them at Explore Oregon in Tillamook. I will be there.
Mine was three colors and had a banged up door on it... its not in any of the pics. I just finished restoring it back to looking nice. Will do a reveal on it very soon.
Really nice video summarizing the car show, and you even paused at my car at 9:38, (but as usual the neighbors got more attention 😀). I’ll forward the link onto some friends who wonder why I would spend my entire weekend at a Miata event. I still don’t know who were the winners in the car show. I wasn’t at the dinner and no mention on the Moss Miata or Reunion social media channels. Does anyone know where to find this information?
Is yours the 2001 BRG? I wanted to spend more time and get every car, but I got delayed getting there and didn't arrive until after 5pm. I missed an entire section and didn't even get to vote. Next time I will have to plan on arriving the day before.
