Okay so it’s not in this specific video but I think the thing I found interesting was Patrick Mahomes, when he was on the touchline, he was always sat down; meanwhile when Jimmy G was on the touchline he would be occasionally practising his throwing; that for me says it all right there!!
I have to say how many times in your life as a RB in the NFL do you get to put a cherry on top 30 yd TD against a great defense. Not very often I’d say worthy
Those players absolutely adore Andy Reid. So awesome to see a coach that loved and respected by his players. Patrick and Andy will go down in history as two of the best to ever do it. Go KC
Matt Drummond As a longtime Chiefs fan, this feels like a dream. It really does! I can, unfortunately, remember that 1983 draft, when the Chiefs chose QB Todd Blackledge with their 1st round pick, over Dan Marino or Jim Kelly. I thought we’d NEVER find a great quarterback. Then they went 34 years without picking a QB in the first round at all (probably because of the Blackledge fiasco🤣). It’s a great time to be a Chiefs fan!!!
Susan Maggiora I was there during that era, those were tough years for sure. Also there for Super Bowls I and IV. Even I moved away 32 years ago, Chiefs were always my team. This was sweet, hope we can keep most of the guys for a repeat..
I’m a die hard giants fan ( sad that we r awful the fake fans for the chiefs make me question if we are actually in New York) he to me is the most respectable coach in the NFL his son died and Andy is the only coach with that many wins and just got a super bowl
I know I'm late. But Kelce is one of the coolest guys I ever met. I went to spring training and he made sure everyone in the direction I was got an autograph and picture. I got both. He is the best.
@@fusemysteel207 I looked into it again and yeah sure the child abuse is possibly nothing. He was definitely guilty of choking out his girlfriend while she pregnant though so I am not sure what you mean
Reid has ultimate confidence in his QB. At 5:46 after an INT Reid tells Mahomes “Listen, you just keep firing.” Shanahan must not have had that in Jimmy G.
Ky Heeke I had to edit my first response because I didn’t understand what you meant. To me “keep firing” is (as you said) “slinging it.” Big difference from “Protect the ball” as Belichick told Brady while Bledsoe was saying “F*** that, go out there and sling it” for their first Super Bowl. Plenty of coaches say “slow down, protect the ball, don’t turn it over” (like Holmgren to Favre). Like you said, Reid must’ve felt that using caution wouldn’t help & letting Mahomes do his thing was the best way to win. Mahomes is the best young QB of his generation. Reminds me of Dan Marino with wheels.
Well dude I see your point but the shit Mahomes does is unreal, he led team to so much comebacks that Andy Reid is just like ye we got time til the game really ends. On the otherside Jimmy G is definitely a good QB but he's not anywhere near to Mahomes when we talk about playmaking + Reid is much more experienced coach.
Aries King 1. hold on emanual sanders 2. holding on bosa 3rd and 15 3. helmet to helmet 3. off-sides 4. selecting controversial refs prior season to now host the super bowl!! the goons at the nfl rigged the game!!
Oh, you’re sons got an A on their test, well my sons completed an accomplishment that has roughly 0.002704% chance ( if i did math right, which I probaly didn’t)
I think for the the vast majority, these 49ers fans and players are some of the classiest ever. But the difference was obvious. The 49ers ASSUMED they would win. The Chiefs WANTED to win.
Those players absolutely adore Andy Reid. So awesome to see a coach that loved and respected by his players. Patrick and Andy will go down in history as two of the best to ever do it. Go KC
You don't know that was his reaction at the time. This is edited so it could have been a reaction to something else. Regardless it was offensive pass interference. The ref watching the play threw the flag even before he caught the pass.
Kittles was too stupid to know that he didn't even need to push off to catch that pass. Stop whining about the refs and blame Kittles for pushing off, crybaby.
Jerry Rice is SO excited before the game. It’s almost as if he thought there was no chance they were losing! Weird. I didn’t see him after the game lol
As a latino and a Chiefs fan that I am, I must say that I really appreciate your efforts for making this subtitles so I can understand what my team has to say. Thank you 😃😃😭
As a Niners fan I have a lot of respect for Mahomes. For one of the best in the league to still show respect for his coach is respectful, "Yes Sir, Yes Sir".
8:48 has to be the most special moment this whole video, as an Eagles fan I know Andy has been waiting his entire life for this exact moment; to have that shitty Gatorade dumped on him after winning his first super bowl, congrats big red
Rico Alexander the monumental 3rd & 15, 44 yard bomb to Tyreek Hill late in the 4th. Mahomes called for tht play, "WASP", while the referees reviewed Hill's dropped pass on the previous 2nd & 15. -Niners were favored over 95% to win the game at tht point. After the 44 yard completion, the % dropped by 10. And as we all saw, Travis Kelce would score a receiving TD on that same possession. -All marking the turning point of the game, and ultimate demise of the SF Niners.
@@EvilDeathFx excellent recap SV. And the vid capture of that play call moment shows me one wildly, courageously, focused Champion! In my book Reed, Mahomes, Kelce and Team! have taken the game to another dimension. What's coach Andy Big Red Reed say? "Stay humble."
Being there in person to watch it live was something else being there right at the start of this whole dynasty. I never in 1 million years would’ve thought four years later we’d have two more rings. Absolutely worth all the money I spent.
I really do like the Team Encouragement that each player states at every game; the deep down belief, desire, and intentional acts mean more than most folk realize. It's not theoretical....It's "Mind over Matter'. There are "No other answers". There are No accidents. There are No coincidences. Believe it! 💯
As a father & a son, and person in general, there's nothing more relatable than the moment shared between the Kelce's. That's what life and sports and family is all about.
Should have been a penalty hitting a sliding quarter back. Ball should have been Dead the second he started the slide and not been moved back. Another missed call by the refs
@@jaypike5424 you must have never played football because do you have any idea how hard it is to pull off of a tackle at the last second like that? Defenders are going full speed doing everything they can to make a play and stop the offense short of a first. Mahomes was pushing it trying to get the first down and he knew that. If a quarterback slides late they deserve to take a hit. I dont mean a hit like Andy Dalton took. That was dirty. But at the end of the day,, doesnt matter what position you're playing. Its still a football game. Edit: after watching the play again, Mahomes gets hit before he even starts sliding. I dont know what you watched.
Mahomes - "It's gonna be special... they gonna talk about it forever baby... they gonna talk about it forever!!" Me - It's special... I'm gonna watch SB LIV highlights forever baby... I'm gonna watch SB LIV highlights forever!"
#75 for the Chiefs always seems to be in the middle of everything. I've seen him dancing after touchdowns, dancing in the locker room, and now participating in dumping the Gatorade.
@@chiefskingdom_24 I know his name as I'm a Chiefs fans! I said his uniform# because he's not that well known. He seems to be popular with his teammates though.
@John Carter You're right though. If you watch the lockeroom. Video after the Superbowl victory he was the only lineman dancing and rapping with the receivers.
@@bradthompson5383 It was a comment about the attitude of the players going. One believed they were Champions, the other didn't. The one that did was right!!!
Super Bowl 55 5 + 5 = 10 Tom Brady's 10th Super Bowl appearance Date of SB55 is 2/7/21 2 + 7 + 2 + 1 = 12 (Tom Brady #12) Tom Brady is 43 4 + 3 = 7 He was after his 7th ring, on the 7th of Feb. 777 Now here's what's weird about next year for Super Bowl 56... 5 + 6 = 11 Tom Brady's 11th Super Bowl appearance??? Date of SB56 is 2/6/22 2 + 6 + 2 + 2 = 12 (Tom Brady #12) Tom will be 44 4 + 4 = 8 Brady's going for his 8th ring... This shit aint no damn coincidence...
Half my fam is 49ers fan and me and my bro chiefs fan so this one was for the ages and to think it almost happen again this year is crazy , don’t sleep on 49ers they still contenders
"They Gonna talk about this forever" yeah Maholmes was right. If ever there was a reason to visit the state Missouri, Chiefs Kingdom is it. Whats more you get to do Missouri and Kansas.
I witness Kansas City Chiefs winning the Super Bowl 4 in 1970. I also witnessed the Kansas City Chiefs winning Super Bowl 54 in 2020. This will be the only football I watch now until Week 1 of the NFL season 2020 !! Kckid
I that kid running the ball out to the ref to start the game. Do they do that before every Super Bowl? The grin on his face says it all. I’m gonna watch it again🏈🇺🇸
