I grew up across the street from Joe Madro, then Sid's O-line coach with the Rams, when Barron Hilton brought the Chargers into one of the original AFL franchises and took Sid and his staff away from the Rams it was only natural that a sizable part of the LA population went with them. Family moved to San Diego in 1962 and was 13 years old when my dad took me and my brother and sister to watch the Chargers STOMP the then Boston Patriots 51-10 in the AFL Championship led by QB's Tobin Rote and John Hadl and an insane performance by MVP Keith Lincoln. Regardless of the Chargers being in LA ( after doing 55 in San Diego ) The Powder Blue and the Lightning Bolt is simply the best....Aloha

It’s cause Staley uses Derwin as the “chess piece” which is a rlly dumb idea cause it forces the safeties to play completely different and I think the idea of moving him around the field makes the defense worse cause the safeties can’t just play traditional safety, when Derwin comes back they need to just drop him deep
