Hello everyone, I finally got around to editing my previous Mail Goodies footage. The footage in this video comes from prior to Mail Goodies 9.
I got a better probe for my DSO138, some Soldering Iron Tip Tinner, a set of opening tools, a Behringer 302USB Xenyx audio interface, a Neewer NW-800 microphone, and finally a Pyle PMKSH28 Microphone floor stand with a scissor arm!
I hope you all find this video interesting.
As it turned out the USB audio interface only put out about 14v for it's phantom power, and while it was "usable" it caused quite a bit of noise due to the amount of gain required. I ended up buying a Neewer 48v phantom power supply (see Mail Goodies episode 9).
As a side note, the audio from my Reed Switch video was all recorded with the NW-800 mic, I still need to hone the settings but it does a good job. I will do a comparison between my Snowball and the NW-800 in the next few weeks.
