Effective hand in the mouth technique from Ruotolo, definitely deserved the victory for the most submission attempts. Jokes aside, the only one trying to engage and to actually perform was Mika. What a shame!

Yah, Mica was actually attacking. And he gave Tye more than enough entries for attack and Tye didn't engage. He ws just fencing. And not to forget that after Mica got hurt on the face, he still waited for Tye and nothing came. Id give this to Mica. He allowed Rutoulo.
@@matheusmarques7009 Dude waits to the exact limits of the mats to reset and he's never giving up positions that were earned in bad resets.... and gives fiery speeches without prompt to try to inspire the fighters etc. In short, too many reasons to list.
Tye didn't really commit to passing the guard. Instead, he just kept going around and defending any leg attacks, disengaging when he saw the slightest risk. Mica on the other hand, kept trying to attack from the guard, but that's hard to do when the other guy just keeps pulling out. It's ridiculous that Tye got the win. Given Tye's "run away strategy", Mica's attempt to keep him in the closed guard towards the end was smart. He knew that if he opened the guard for a second, Tye would escape and go back to his round about routine.
I you watch it all back at 0.25x speed maybe you'll notice Tye being the aggressor here. You can't expect him to jump in head first. Mica clearly was just waiting and baiting the whole match

I Expected so much more from both of them. Mica gave entries, Tye I don't' know why he didn't commit to them. Ref should of have gave a warning to both of them.

Meu... que resultado mais roubado!!!!!! O Mica venceu esse mês o mundial em cima do Tye e foi um passeio. Essa luta aqui não era nenhum pouco difícil saber que o Mica também venceu.
I'm glad I didn't watch the whole match. I could tell by just watching the first minute that both were passive, and trying not to lose as opposed to trying to win. Skipped to the end and sure enough I was right. Saved myself 30 minutes of boredom.

Alunos do André mais ou menos né pq ele compra os caras novos na faixa roxa já ganhando tudo e promove os caras pra marrom e preta mas os caras nem treinam lá com ele quase. É diferente do danaher q recebe muito aluno formado mas o cara treina direto la com ele e ele transforma o cara. E quando ele forma aluno o cara de azul já tá dando trabalho pra todo mundo.. Os routolos já eram fenômenos muito antes de irem pra atos e o estilo de jogo deles é o msm o André não lapidou nada só foi promovendo conforme eles iam ganhando tudo.

Mica said "there, take it, ill let you go first" To make it clear, imagine um faixa marrom rolando com um novo faixa azul. O marrom normalmente sente e deixa o azul entrar e ele luta do que ele recebe. Quando o azul não ataca o marrom cansa, e sobe para atacar, mas o azul foge por saber o perigo. Quem merece a vitoria nisso?
Every time I saw it I wanted to smack the fucker in the face, I’m sure Mica wanted to do the same as well. So cheap and dirty move, but we gotta agree it’s working - irritating af and makes you angry. Not sure I would shake hands after this, so props to Mica for high class sportsmanship.
The mouth covering thing is strange. Might be better to make it illegal, not sure. You can't give points based on that. It takes zero skill. I honestly don't get why ruotolo won. The only thing he did that was aggressive was covering mica's mouth. What else did he do? The rules have to change if you want to give the judges a way to make a proper decision.they need a way to make a decision or to force action. Maybe start in alternating positions. Hard to decide for sure. Maybe longer match to tire them out more to instigate mistakes and risk taking.
Pra mim quem luta de maneira desonesta - tentando tapar a respiração do adversário - deveria ser desclassificado. Me espanta saber que seu mestre é o brasileiro André Galvão. Sempre achei que André lutasse por preservar bons princípios - maneira honrada de lutar.
There should be tiebreak with escapes or points at some time in the match. What’s the point of making a 30 min fight where everybody knows both sides will be stalling till the very end because they don’t want to commit.
No one should be crown as winner and they should get a penalty fee, pay x amount do to the lack of performance and an apology to the to the spot and fans.
