Finally a question about jiu jitsu I know the answer to. It's a bauerfiend genutrain. His is the support version but I use the brace. It holds up well and gets washed with my gi each time without issue.

Yeah hands over mouth is pretty ghey. You should be able to bite hands and fingers in that case. People may say barbaric but it is an intuitive defense. Nogi has some weird rules. Leg locks and heel hooks have really shit on the game and make BJJ less real and more of a sport. If you fought someone in real life and they abandoned upper body control to attack the legs, you would 100% get knifed. So yeah it is kind like UFC in the sense it doesn't mirror reality or a fair system. One thing you have to remember in general is society has gone to shit.
