The wife left the church and was even baptized again (which generally is not needed/done if just finding a new home church; she didn't change denominations as far as I know, and even then wouldn't necessarily need baptism) And the way the pastor led the service with his directions to the congregation after telling them of her death.. there should have been one or more men/leaders who stopped that, taken over, allowed the brethren to talk/grieve etc, kept church open all day and night etc.. everything a healthy church would have done in this instance if it was godly or even just normal. Heck, even if a new or temporary coworker at a job passed there would be more of a protocol and more sensitivity than that. I stumble a lot in my walk with Christ but I can see clearly a church who idolizes a pastor/man/dust, and who doesn't have Yeshua as the foundation, instantly, and this was definitely one of those.
