Since leaving GG I always felt like Micah was treated very unfairly in the comments. not necessarily in the comments on this channel, but mainly on Good good vids and micah's own channel. Clearly it was a business decision but these 12 year olds thought that Good good was the greatest thing ever and he should stay with the group until he was 95. No one really had anything negative to say about him until he left the group then magically he became boring and lackluster. He might not have the biggest personality and he might flub the occasional left from his right. But goddamn it, hes a super nice guy and deserves better treatment. Afterall, he didn't screw good good, he just moved on entirely.
Well said…and this interview just clearly shows this guys is a solid dude and is making adult decisions…sadly, it will just become more ammunition for the childish trolls. Happy for Micah being the adult and focusing his energy back towards his golf game and his personal development as opposed to listening to the haters.
A lot of ppl criticized Micah since his days with GG. He was always very karenish, and was always a Debbie downer. I will say, him leaving was probably best for both parties. He seems to be having fun and enjoying himself with his new crowd.
Always glad to hear from a young person who's been through a tough transition and coming out the other side better off for it. Micah sounds chill and comfortable where he's at, and where he's going. Those times can be tough, but the lessons pay off for a lifetime. Great to see him doing well and looking forward to the next leg of the journey.
Good person- being brought into a growing thing when you were cleaning up a golf course for a living…. Then slowly building up your own channel. Wasn’t good enough bailed first time someone asked for a commitment to the group and sacrifice literally anything.
Every time I hear Micah get to talk for longer than 5 minutes, I understand more why he and Good Good were no longer right for each other, and I like him more and more. Still like GG too! They just needed to go in different directions.
I have to be honest and say I had my GG glasses on when Micah left and judged him unfairly..... I was wrong. This interview has made me take off the glasses and respect him again. Great person. Well done Nate, amazing interview.
"You dont need to hurry, it doesnt help in any aspect of your life" As someone who got into the medical field later in life, and whose had a bunch of ups and downs in my career, that was some of the best advice anyone could ever give
I appreciated Micah so much more after I saw him caddying for Wesley at his US Open qualifying attempt. Got to meet Micah in person there. He's a really nice guy.
What I like the most about youtube golf is that, I feel like I know all these guys and gals, as opposed to PGA tour and other tours , they are all just names and I don't know a whole lot about them except what the media tells us about them.
I’m not a coach I’m not even a very good golfer but from the outside I feel like Micah‘s mental game is really the only thing that ever gets in his way. I relate to what he’s saying when it comes to spreading yourself too thin and not achieving things on a high-level. I think you’re always better off to niche down and focus on one thing at a time.
Interesting to me that Micah really was choosing his words carefully when talking about Garrett. Feel like their relationship will never be quite the same, which is totally fair, just noticed that.
Hard to say when their aren’t any interviews similar to this with him prior to going his own way. It’s possible he would have spoken the same way before.
This was a great interview. Micah, you rock dude. One of my favorite Tig moments was when you were on the bus with the rest of the goodgood guys talking conspiracy theories. Lets get some conspiracy talk in your content Micah!
They get to be true to themselves .... OG good good reminded you of all your buddies just playing to have good time but now it seems to corporate ...miss the old good good.... nate always on point ty for bringing the side of you tube gold we never see ,keep it up
Man do i want to see a Garret Grant and Micah Collab on their individual channels. Sounds like Good Good is planning a RU-vid live golf tournament and Garret is inviting every Big RU-vid creator there is!!! Bob Does Sports, Micah, Grant, Bryan Bros, Rick Shields, Bustajack and many more!!! Lets go!!! So excited to see where RU-vid golf goes!
Guys, if you all are watching Nate, hit the sub button for the man. There is no reason we shouldn't push him over 100k. The dude works hard to keep us updated. Nate, thank you for the channel and all that you do!
“The relationship is worth more than the views” I’m not saying that micha isn’t a good person, because I think he is. BUT, his demeanor said it all… He would be willing to to do a collaboration with GARETT (not good good) only for the money and views. They are cousins and he didn’t say he will always have LOVE for Garett, he said he will always be thankful and grateful for him. Micha has been one of my favorite RU-vid golfers until this video. Family and your roots are always the most important thing. We all make our own choices.
@@jimmyr1888 are you serious? if you know the history then you know that Garrett started GM for them and Micah moved away twice while Garrett kept the channel alive. Garrett built the following.
@@thereaper4396 it’s because things like Matt trying to replace the chirping of Grant, bro you’re not him. Matt went from so likable to so completely unlikable.
Micah and Grant used Good Good and Garret to build their channels and when they got where they wanted to be they dumped them or at least that's the way it appears. just my opinion
I really like Micah as a really good golfer. His sincerity is genuine, which makes him more likeable. But both of you in this interview need to stop the insane overuse of the word "LIKE". Way too many people talk that way, but it is very annoying. It wasn't taught in school. It's another bad habit created by social media. I know it will take a conscious effort to break that habit, but worth it in the long run.
Yep, loved this Nate. Micah went up a few notches in my book today, for whatever thats worth 🤷♂️. All you boys out there youtubegolfing. Im lovin it. 💚
Ive always thought the issue was Steve myself. I really struggle watching any videos with him in it and I'm not even there so I can only imagine what it would be like being around him all day long. He just puts off really shitty, negative vibes for me, in every single video he's in which is why I pass on ones with him in it. I never got that vibe from Bubbie. He always seemed upbeat and positive and a hard guy to not like.
Some wisdom coming from Micah on the work life balance with the family. Hopefully he has a relationship with Jesus Christ. He gives balance. Same for you Nate. Great interview.
I always wondered what happened. I'm 40 and been a lifelong golfer. I watched Garrett when he started with trick shots. Saw micah when he first started with Garrett. Then I took a few years off from golf and golf content. Just came back a few months ago and saw that they weren't together anymore. Cool seeing all the new people. Grant wasn't around back then, Bryan bros wasn't, really like Bryan Bros considering they live 45 minutes from me. Really cool seeing everyone prospering at what they love. And a master youtube golf match would blow up the internet!!!
Would’ve been less drama and gossip if he would’ve just said when he left. It was just to go solo and get more subs on his personal channel. Literally all it was. Nothing crazy about that. It’s what i and most people already knew 😂
Can I be real? I think everyone has been focused on “beefs” between members/former members of Good Good, can I be real? I think the underlying issues may be traced to one person, Kendrick!
