Cowboys should switch to a 3-4 defense and put parsons on the right side and lawrence can kick outside on 3rd downs

When Parsons plays DE exclusively LVE is exposed and the defense struggles to stop the run. Beyond that, part of Parsons secret is that as a 5th rusher he can rush from anywhere and get 1V1 matchups that the opposing offense can't scheme against. It's really simplistic thinking to want to take away his versatility and make him a permanent DE. The man is only 240 lbs. You know what they call defensive linemen that light? Pass rushing specialists. Those specialists don't play on 1st, and often 2nd, down plays. The man's uniqueness is playing everywhere. Let the man ball.

Exactly what I’ve been saying. Just because he’s really good at one thing doesn’t mean you should limit his growth and versatility. Not knowing where he’s going to line up and if he’s gonna blitz or not is a better scheme then keeping him at one spot so the other team can game plan against him.

They play a lot of 3-4 already. Dan Quinn has been saying since training camp that he would implement both 4-3 and 3-4 styles of defense.

The Cowboys are leading the NFL with 20 interceptions but, according to you, besides Diggs the other db's "couldn't catch a cold in the desert".... really? All of our db's have at least 2 int's and as a Cowboys fan I don't know how you can complain about interceptions when they are tops in the NFL. As for the running game both of our backs are injured and the o-line play has been inconsistent because of players missing games. Even Zack Martin pointed out the inconsistent o-line play during this stretch. Dak has been very inconsistent during this stretch and needs to play better and he knows it. But, his rookie season he was the offensive rookie of the year. There's not a team in the league that would have put him on the bench for an aging qb who was often injured by that point in his career. I loved Tony Romo but there's only so many back injuries a guy can have. Not to mention the 2 broken collar bones, broken ribs, collapse lung, etc.

@@marylandguy5848 For every pick we have, we've dropped 3. Our elite pass rush can possibly make us champs. Vander has played like garbage until the Wash game, when he did his job. With our receiver's Dak need to give em a chance. His $'s are BS. How often does he hit them in stride with coverage..NOT VERY..Since Covid Zeke has not been the same. He is a extra OL in pass protection. No excuse for Dak. Now lets see if Lawrence's injury is serious?

@@marylandguy5848 So has Aaron. Payton won with a rod in his neck. Since I wrote this, we dropped an EASY pick in the EZ, and we would have moved on. Still, trade Dak, and a 1 for an adequate qb who doesn't consistently chock in the RZ, or freeze in big games, or randomly

You can make this argument for every great pass rusher. Smaller guys like Parsons actually get held a lot less than your big bodies like Aaron Donald (cause there is just less to grab and they are generally shiftier)
