The way Michael transforms into Quasi by just smearing some makeup on during the bells of notre dame is truly spine-tingling!!!!! It's an amazing thing to see, and I think, a great testament to his acting abilities
Fantastic production... the dark tone from the novel makes it work so much better than the movie, the score is glorious, and Michael and Patrick are simply divine, as are Ciara and Andrew. For goodness sake, bring it to Broadway!
Did any body else smile throughout this!? It's about time they brought this beautiful story to the stage! And I love that Disney is actually doing something right by allowing them to make this story darker. Ugh I love it X)
kind of wish she would have corrected the interviewer. She's not indecisive between two men, they are the ones tearing her apart: "and still it all comes down to her and me..."
i feel like people forget how dark the film was. They tried to kill a baby in the first scene, had sounds of prisoners being whipped and screaming, lots of sexual content (the seductive dance at the festival, and frollo's lust for esmeralda). god damn the only thing different in the film was the ending
I live about hour out of New York City, and my biggest hope is that this show comes to Broadway- and, based upon the rave reviews that I've seen, it most likely will. I want to see this so badly. I got teary-eyed just watching this video, so I'm probably going to be bawling if I ever get to see the musical.
