He’s one of Britain’s most popular entertainers and now Michael Ball has just bagged the Sunday Love Songs spot on Radio 2, following the death of DJ Steve Wright. Michael joins us to reveal details of his new show starting in June, along with hitting the road with Les Miserables for an arena spectacular tour in September playing Javert!

and.. he had a Welsh Mam. My Mother was also from South Wales. If my brother smiled more often he would be a dead ringer.. very similar.. could pass for brothers. In fact, my Mum was a fan of his. lol.

It’s a role for a Tenor (like Alfie). Michael’s a baritone. Even if he can work his way up to doing it, pushing his voice long term could be damaging (see: Julie Andrews)

Well Mr. Ball, you do have the gift of gab but I'll bet you never use the phrase "relax me off" again on air during this lifetime. What a giggle. Still hope you include some zaniness in your new show but follow Marquis of Queensbury rules. I'm still laughing. And why don't you play "I Don't Know Much, But I Know I Love You" with Linda Ronstadt and James Inghram on your first show. Be Well.

I still do not like Michael’s beards or mustache. My opinion only. It is his life as he chooses to live it. And you cannot dismiss the wonderful person and talent that he is,
