This was a great interview! Im so proud of Michael, It’s not easy to breakthrough any industry in America if you are African. I love how Shanon placed a lot of emphasis on his transition from Ghana to the United States. There’s a lot of culture shock for most of us. A lot of challenges most African migrants do not talk about openly.

Anyone can suppress their accent, trust me for sure, if he uses energy and volume, it has no choice but to come out, I have learned that from all the countries I have visited; though I agree many try to force their accent way to much though, makes it not sound as legit as when they just let it flow like in a real upbeat conversation or something.
