I like the pick. There's a reason he rose so much in the lead up to the draft. He plays a really fast game, passes very well, has focus, and is strong.

And really young. At 17 he's 5'11/187lbs... so when he shows up in a few years at a little over 6ft and 200lbs of fast as hell with good hands, this won't seem like a reach

Not a Philly fan, but this is so cool. I like how the guy announcing Michael to the stage fumbled a little there, because I sure as hell would too. How do you fathom announcing the worlds greatest announcer? So awesome for Jet as well. He can say he’s joined a long list of top athletes to be announced in some way by Michael Buffer.

A lot of people were upset with this pick. Well after seeing him in play his 1st NHL preseason game after a good training camp……he might just be a steal at 13 overall. He’s the fastest guy on the ice, great motor, solid on defense and when good players are playing besides him, you see how good he really is! Kudos to The Flyers scouting team. Also Torts may have to add a few laps for him in next years infamous Tortsure skate considering he finished with no problem.
