I would love to hear their level of eloquence vs chandler. some of my favorite videos on youtube are ones where creators drill down on a comment, call the person out, message them, and make a video about it. absolutely pathetic people.

He is a constant rambler, regularly cuts fellow commentators off, audibly slurps his spit regularly when speaking, and often argues (unnecessarily) with other commentators seemingly forgetting he's commentating for a fight happening right in front of his eyes. He also doesn't have that great of a repuation to be a high-quality commentator from an intellectual side of things. I don't mind his octagon interviews though. They're pretty straight forward

They both lost 3 out of their last 4, although Conor lost one to injury. Chandler talked about Conor not fighting for three years, but it will be almost two years since Chandler has fought as well. Chandler has the wrestling pedigree, but he's not a submission finisher. This match up is really good. If this was a three round, I would bet on Conor, but for five rounds I would bet Chandler. He's been training the whole time, and I feel like Conor is cramming three years of training into just a few months. I said a long time ago that is was evident Conor had leg injuries, because they always showed him riding a bike for cardio and he wasn't running. They are two different things. Conor has leg issues and that's why his cardio wasn't great in the later fights, then his leg snapped. Five rounds, unless he KO's Chandler, is not in his favor.

@@ErinJeanette I first noticed it when Conor fought Chad Mendes. Mendes is a wrestler but he only had like a 12 day notice, and he gassed Conor at the beginning of that fight, but then he got tired himself and Conor won. After that fight, all the Embedded videos and video with Ariel, etc, Conor was always on a bike or doing the climb machine, we never saw him running. I knew something was up with his legs, and then Conor started talking about his ankles. If you can't run, your cardio will never be as good. IMO that's why Conor lost three of his last four and had a tough time against Nate in both fights. He just didn't have the gas tank, and that's going to apply to this fight, even more so coming off of that leg break.

Khabib is the only guy to do that to him in his UFC career and Khabib struggled with him more than anyone else during his short title run. That wasn’t even the best version of Conor but obviously this may be a worse version of Conor as he is older and has been out for just as long as he was for that fight at this point or at least close to it.

If Conor comes in at even 75% of what he used to be, then Chandlers the one getting starched. Chandlers the perfect matchup for Conor: short & stocky wrestler who won't actually wrestle, fights in orthodox stance, and throws winging haymakers with his chin up in the air. Conors greatest gift is his timing, and if his timing is anything like it used to be, he'll counter Chandler and put him out badly with a left hand. Don't let his inactivity or drug abuse food you. If Conor comes in dialed in and motivated he could absolutely win this.

The note was fine. I have a feeling that they already promoted it before and all that promotion money was wasted due to it falling apart. I don't expect that much after the legendary UFC 300 card, but I know Chandler will bring it, but it takes 2.. Hope for him that the fight goes on and that people will buy the PPV.

I just hope McGregor's performance in this fight better than his dreadful performance in Roadhouse -that was beyond cringe, it was so embarrassing. You've to love Chandler for being a respectful, intelligent fighter who can string a sentence together without foul language. A rare gentleman in a sport increasingly populated by thugs. God, I hope he slams McGregor so hard McGregor never dares to put on the gloves again.

When i listen to Chandler i just find him fake. He is such a dirty fighter (look at the Porier fight) who I believe does a lot to look good in the public eye (black kids, weird af.) Its sad that people dont see through that bs only coz he has an above average vocabulary.

If you look at recent years ..with Conor and his time off..his return fights have been against monsters..2020 was ol Donnie .a year later comes back and fights Dustin who’s been active which everyone knows activity is important..Conor loses..fights Dustin again and breaks his leg..3 years later he’s fighting Michael..and that fight is 5 rounds..even with the injury..all that is astonishing ..
