Great to see that the workers behind the making of the gowns etc. did their walk and ramped at the end of the show. What a masterpiece! Gorgeous and stunning collections.
Wow Wow Wow 👏👏👏 fantastic gesture to include all the little people that works behind the scene ❤️❤️❤️ and those clothes and designs really represent an international appeal ❤️😇
Elegant, intricate, stunning dresses. The colors, gradient, shimmers, the way the fabric glides, hangs, skims; it's all fluid and really well thought of. From light to dark and everything in between is just wow! The music selection is *chef's kiss. And much respect for bringing out the team behind the vision. I have never seen that. 👏👏👏
Amazing presentation when I was young I wanted to become fashion designer but when I come the school to enroll fashion designer I'm sad the list of the student was full I did not enroll so I take the hair science and beauty culture course
Gown at 1:44 is stunning. Im not the fondest of the shapes...its probably.just me.....(except the gown mentioned and others in similarity). Please do NOT hate me.....but the color pallete is absolutely breathtaking. Exceptional designs as always.
im shocked to see a kid dressed as a kamuro with a hagoita and parasol come down the runway. very rare to see that in a fashion show. usually you would only see that in kabuki or oiran dochu. as for the woman that came out behind the kamuro, i think she is supposed to be like a modern oiran but the kimono was tied wrong, supposed to be left over right not right over left....
9:47 I love that MISS UNIVERSE-NEPAL 2023 walked the Michael Cinco runway. She looked absolutely exquisite in that two-piece ensemble...❤❤❤ Two man's kimonos were the best for me...👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️
If that would be me there, I'll be giving them a round of supper applause or a standing ovation for that matter when staff are walking out led by Michael - some of the guest there are just nonchalant
Baggy pants, oversized tops are in nowadays. Have u seen Koreans or Japanese how they dressed nowadays. Try to watch BTS and other KPop artists. Did u notice the music as well? Very Oriental.
It's an Asian style. As you can tell by the overall theme. Baggy pants are a thing in most Asian Culture and now a thing in the newer generation of Asians, they're reviving it.
I'm getting dizzy watching this because the director can't make up his mind in the direction of which camera to use. He keep switching cameras all the time. This looks like 3 different collection.
It's not Chinese specifically. It appears to be Japanese but I'm not entirely sure why. Also a mixture of other Asian cultures but nonetheless very interesting.
It is Japanese! I can only surmise that because his show is titled Autumn Winter, Michael alluded to Japan having four seasons. At first, I thought Michael Cinco is giving homage to Japan when in fact he is Filipino!
The collection is very Diluted. No Direction. I dont understand what he was trying to showcase in this collection. He claims its about the impalpable dream of Japan, but there are only few pieces that has Japanese elements on it yet there are pieces that are very modern with mirror embellishments sort of taken from the movie Matrix. (The Gallano 2007 Dior HC collection by far is the only collection that was dedicated to Japan which was made flawlessly incorporating French couture meets the Japanese Geisha). Not cohesive (individual pieces is good but to mix them all together as one collection not a good idea) . There's no story behind it. Very Elie Saab, very Dior and Very Dolce Gabbana Alta Sartoria. He opened with his huge ball gown trademark and i think he needs to come up now with fresh ideas - avant garde, not just recycled sillhouettes and fabrications from his previous collections ( most pieces has been seen alot of times from his previous collection already). Then out in the middle of the collection you got a Japanese Geisha ( which further made the collection confusing) with Madamme Butterfly song by Malcolm Mclaren on the background which is very similar yet again from his 2010 collection in Manila which is a combination similar to that of Dior HC 2007 F/W, Dior HC 2006 and McQueen 2006. He needs to come up with fresh ideas if he wants to get an editorial spread in high fashion magazines like Vogue or Madamme Figaro.
I have questions. Why does the construction seem to have deteriorated? Zippers, fit and finish, ideas? Gimmickry? The men's clothing has better tailoring and construction. Uninspired.
