@@floodwaters8887 in every cricketers life this type of situation come when his form goes poor because they all are human not machine

He's admitted himself that he stayed in the team too long. But that was because Australia didn't have anyone coming through at that time with a lot of promise. He still managed to score a century & a double century in one of his last series & went on to become the shefield shield POTY. Hard to sustain such a high standard from his peak years.
